| This was our second time on Diver Ed's boat. Our children are 8 and 6 now and I think they are the perfect age for this. Our youngest was 2 the first time and she stayed back with a family member, this time she enjoyed it so much, and was able to sit and really appreciate what was going on. Not only is this an educational experience for both the children and parents, but very funny. Diver Ed is someone your kids wont forget, my daughter even had a birthday party themed after the experience, with touch tanks filled with water and fake sea animals! You will see all of the real thing on this activity, though, and to me it is worth every penny.PS--This time it was on his new boat, which was awesome! | ||||||

| I am orginially from Maine but was visiting with my husband and 5 year old son from Washington, DC. We had never done this event before, but after seeing the website before our trip decided to check it out. I am glad that we did! It combined having a nice open air boat ride with some entertainment for our son (we liked it a lot too!). I would highly recommend this to families. I would say that children under 3 won't really be able to sit for this show and ride. We had to turn the boat around at the start to bring back a very upset young one. Kids and adults over 3 will have fun! Go for it! Diver Ed and his wife are great! | ||||||

| This was our third trip to the Dive In Theater. Our second with the Park Ranger. Every time there is something new and exciting to discover and the new boat is awesome. Diver Ed keeps everyone excited and entertained with all of the wonderful sea creatures he finds to share. Park Ranger Angi gave a wonderful tour of the park and provided new pieces of information for all of the sea creatures we were introduced to. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Acadia and the Bar Harbor area. | ||||||

| We took our 2 grandchildren (ages 4 and 7), our daughter, and son in law as our guests from Chicago on the Diver Ed cruise. Ed Monat ,aka Diver Ed, is a gifted showman, as well as an experienced diver, so the combination made for an entertaining as well as an educational outing all could enjoy. We were at sea for about 2 1/2 hours, so we felt we were definitely. getting our money's worth. Lots of fun! | ||||||

| My husband, two children (8 and 11) and I all loved this boat trip with Diver Ed, Captain Evil, and Mini Ed! Ed is incredibly funny, engaging, and informative. The kids thought he was a riot! Dad, too! The trip is exactly as billed and doesn't disappoint. It was one of the highlights of our vacation. Two hours of fun on the water, no sea sickness-yeah! This is not just for "little" kids as my 11 yr old was laughing the whole time. Perfect family fun. We highly recommend this trip and will definitely do this again! Thank you Ed and all for a great family memory. | ||||||

| Diver Ed and his wife Captain evil provide a unique view of the seaworld in the cold waters of Maine with hilarious commentary and actions. Diver Ed sings madeup songs as he prepares to be pushed off the stern by all the kids aboard. He takes a camera with him and the pictures are beamed aboard to a large screen. He selects various sea life to bring aboard, including baby lobsters, scallops, and star fish plus various sizes of seacucumbers. After he comes aboard all seacreatures are handed around to be gently handled and even kissed. Seacucumbers also squirt -- in faces, down backs with much laughter and screams from the kids. The adults also enjoy the show especially seeing the kids react. Both Diver Ed and his wife are extremely knowledgeable about everything we are seeing. My son-in-law and grandson (11 yrs) said it was the best trip they have ever taken. This is a trip not to be missed on any visit to Acadia National Park | ||||||

| This was our first cruise in the new boat, the Starship Enterprise, but our fourth with Diver Ed and Captain Evil. The cruise is the highlight of the grandchildren's summer visit to Bar Harbor and is always first on the list of desired birthday presents. Ed and Edna are warm and educational and wonderful and they include everyone in the fun, even the grownups. If you want to learn a lot about sea creatures and laugh a lot as well, this cruise is the place to be. | ||||||

| We had three generations from 65 to 3 and all enjoyed the trip. Diver Ed is great fun, like a kid himself , and everyone got into the spirit of the trip. So much fun to see all the kids touching and enjoying all the sea animals. Loved it and recommend it highly! | ||||||

| This was an excellent activity to do with children. Diver Ed is fantastic! He educates everyone on the boat and has a great sense of humor. The kids absolutely love him. Highly recommend spending the money to do this while in Bar Harbor. | ||||||

| All the staff, Diver Ed, his wife and the ranger, shared their knowledge with an enthusiasm that showed that they really love what they do. Diver Ed was both informative and entertaining, keeping both adults and children raptly attentive. The three hours went by quickly. I would do this again in a heartbeat and I was not that keen to begin with. But I would bring any guest on this trip. It was great fun! | ||||||
