| We're a group of 12 women hikers. Everyone loved it. This is our 4th trip with Ed and Edna, and they are great. Great hands-on experience, great entertainment, great personalities. We've recommended this trip to everyone. | ||||||

| The Dive-In Theater Cruise was one of the best parts of our vacation. The whole family was able to enjoy and participate in the cruise. Diver Ed brings the ocean floor to you for you to see. We were able to see and touch lobsters, several types of crabs, sea urchins, several varieties of sea stars, sand dollars, and a sea cucumber. We also saw seals and bald eagles on the way to the dive site. The crew even took the time to pick out a piece of plastic from the water so no harm would come to any sea creature. They truly have a love for the ocean and all animal life. | ||||||

| Our family found this experience to be a highlight of our trip to Mount Desert Island! Diver Ed and the crew entertained as they taught us all about marine life the water around Bar Harbor. We laughed as Mini Ed (#93) was "kissed" by a lobster, and as Captain Evil told stories about everything from the so-called, indestructible camera to unknown species of marine life that they have found during their adventures. We were able to watch on a screen mounted on the boat as Diver Ed dove in the water and collected creatures he encountered. Once he got back on the boat we were able to see and touch a variety of sea creatures such as: starfish (or sea stars as they are now known), crabs, lobsters, sea cucumbers, and shrimp. | ||||||

| Diver Ed makes learning about sea creatures incredibly fun and entertaining. Diver Ed's camera images are amazing, and then the best part is that you get to see & touch real starfish, lobster, crabs, etc. At the end, we got really lucky in that Diver Ed & team took a side trip to see seals that were sitting out on the rocks nearby on the way back. Great crew and great boat trip. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It is a calm and very family/kid friendly boat trip. | ||||||

| We have visted Bar Harbor three times and have always had fabulous trips. We heard from Kayak intstructor Jeff that you were the "funniest guy on the face of the earth" so we HAD to check out your tour. Well, he was absolutely correct! You are extremely funny and we also enjoyed Captain Evil and Deckhand Dick's interesting and funny and stories. The icing of the trip was getting to see the harbor seals and the two bald eagles (how lucky were we to get to see one eating his seagull lunch?!)! Fabulous trip, thank you for making this trip to the island a memorable one for sure! | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the Diver Ed boat cruise. It was fun and informative for children and adults. The crew was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. There were many sea creatures to see and touch. I would highly recommend this activity for families. Our group loved it and we will definitely do it again. | ||||||

| Diver Ed's Dive-Time Theater is the most fun kids can have in Bar Harbor - definitely will be one of their highlights of the summer, especially if the kids have any interest in animals or what happens under the surface of the ocean. The trip far, far exceeded our expectations. Diver Ed is a natural with kids - entertaining and educational. The crew is very friendly accommodating and helpful. My wife forgot to bring her accu-pressure bands for sea-sickness, and Captain Evil had a set for her to use and even a variety of other sea-sickness remedies for her to try if the bands failed. My son talked about the trip all week long, and is still telling us about sea cucumbers, hermit crabs, etc. | ||||||

| I've taken this trip twice with my 5 year old granddaughter and other family members. Diver Ed and his crew are wonderful with children. The trip is educational but the kids probably don't even realize it, as Diver Ed appeals to a kid's sense of humor, e.g. references to and info about sea cucumber's poop. Sea creatures are seen in their natural habitat via an amazing camera system and they are seen for real when Diver Ed brings them onboard. Participants are taught to handle the animals carefully and respectfully after which the animals are returned to the sea. The crew of three, including Diver Ed's wife,"Captain Evil" , is wonderful and funny. As a bonus, last week, we saw a large number of seals on our way back to the dock. If you're in Bar Harbor, especially with kids, don't miss this trip. | ||||||

| The trip was very interesting and educational. We brought our daughter and son in law out for an early 25th weddding aniversary and two of their four children, boys 6 and 13. All were very impressed and entertained and loved the chance to hold the creatures brought up by Diver Ed from the deep. His comments while collecting the specimans were also entertaining. This was our second time to Bar Harbor and will make it a point to take this tour again when we hopefully return in the next few years. Also enjoyed the information given by Ranger Tony. | we saw an eagle ,seals, and harbor porpoise before we even got to the dive location. the dive was the best live look at the ocean bottom that i ever had. Diver ed showed us all the critters on the bottom and then brought them up to the boat so we could handle them, and the ranger from acadia park explained each one. I will go back on this trip when i get to acadia again | ||||||

| We took our 2 grandchildren (ages 4 and 7), our daughter, and son in law as our guests from Chicago on the Diver Ed cruise. Ed Monat ,aka Diver Ed, is a gifted showman, as well as an experienced diver, so the combination made for an entertaining as well as an educational outing all could enjoy. We were at sea for about 2 1/2 hours, so we felt we were definitely. getting our money's worth. Lots of fun! | ||||||
