| Great experience. Driver Ed was great with the kids & the parents. He made every on board laugh. The trip was just right length for the kids. I would recommed this to all. Everyone had a great time! | ||||||

| My husband and I took our grandsons (ages 6 and 12 years) on a vacation to Maine. One of the highlights was Captain Evil, Diver Ed, Mini Ed and Kevster on their new boat the Starfish. Being snorkelers and divers ourselves, it was wonderful for our grandsons to share our joy of the bounty ounder the sea. Awe and joy abounded. Thanks for a memory making excursion.!!! | ||||||

| We are just back from ten days in the Bar Harbour / Acadia Nat. Park area. It was a beautiful early Fall vacation. Our favorite outing was this Diver Ed trip. First of all, it got us to the College of the Atlantic which is a very cool place. I love the concept of learning AND having fun at the same time. Being able to see Diver Ed suit up, dive and encounter the ocean floor was pretty amazing. And the hands-on experience with the creatures he brought up was great. Captain Edna is an amazing woman, and the Ranger was friendly, informative and easy to be around. It was great to have information so easily available to us. And the trip concluded with a rainbow that spanned two islands! My husband and I highly recommend this activity. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend the "Dive In Theater Boat Cruise of Bar Harbor" to anyone, adult or child, but especially for families looking for quality experiences and school groups. Diver Ed and Captain Evil and staff are true professionals who seem to have a deep concern for safety and security, but know how to teach groups in an absolutely fun, educational, and participatory way. When we get to immerse ourselves in an experiential manner and walk away actually remembering facts and details, it is a truly educational and memorable experience. The Dive In Theatre also teaches kindness, love, and a deep concern for our watery environments. My only recommendation is perhaps the person who gives the initial commentary while the boat is working it's way to the diving spot, be more professional, perhaps a trained tour guide. Our gentleman was fun, but did not introduce himself, made some comments that were judgemental about wealthy families on MDI, held personal conversations with children while still on microphone, so not everyone was privvy to what was being said. Other than that (which is pretty minimal), it was a truly memorable experience. | ||||||

| DiverEd and his team were a true hit with our family. We laughed and learned in a beautiful setting. It is a must for families with kids. The best 2 hours on a boat in a long time. | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the Diver Ed boat cruise. It was fun and informative for children and adults. The crew was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. There were many sea creatures to see and touch. I would highly recommend this activity for families. Our group loved it and we will definitely do it again. | ||||||

| We're a group of 12 women hikers. Everyone loved it. This is our 4th trip with Ed and Edna, and they are great. Great hands-on experience, great entertainment, great personalities. We've recommended this trip to everyone. | ||||||

| I have been to Bar Harbor for many years and try to come each year. Being from the midwest area I miss the ocean and love Maine...but this trip my granddaughter accompanied me and I thought this would be fun for her.....she loves all creatures. But was I ever surprised when I found myself glued to the screen as Diver Ed explored the ocean floor with his camera......WOW it was thrilling to see the lobster move with such speed...and backwards......and I learned so much... Oh by the way.......my granddaughter had a smile on her face the entire time......Diver Ed is a hoot and his dogs are gems........I would highly recommend this adventure for young and old......alike...........don't miss it! Both Diver Ed and his wife make the trip such a delight......really worth the money...... | ||||||

| When I got on the boat there were several children and it was feared I'd not enjoy being with so many little ones. How wrong could one person be? Diver Ed and Captain Evil are so very knowledgeable.....and extremely entertaining!! Even at my age I learned things about the ocean and the creatures therein. I would recommend this excursion to anyone who would listen!!! Thanks for a great afternoon!! | ||||||

| I had as much fun as the kids on board! Diver Ed is funny, entertaining and he knows his ocean! I recommend this tour for all ages if you want to see the sea life of this area. It was so interesting to watch the screen of what Diver Ed had on camera under the sea. His use of Mini Ed helped with perspective but when he brought the sea life back to the boat.....that was spectacular! My favorite was holding a sea cucumber...what an awesome creature. Diver Ed did "make" me kiss a crab..but the crab was cute! I hope to be back next summer to do it all again!!!! Martha Smith (over 40, by a bit) Texas | ||||||

| The program was great for children especially and adults as well. The weather was picture perfect and the water calm.Everyone on the trip had a wonderful time. Diver Ed has a great personality and was entertaining as well as informative. His stories are fabulous. The children seemed to really enjoy pushing him into the water at the beginning of the trip. Thoroughly enjoyable time with Diver Ed - would certainly recommend it to friends and family and in the future will take other family members on the trip. Fabulous time!! P.S. Not sure I would like to have many dogs on board - even if they are friendly. But that is just my opinion. | ||||||

| The cruise sails from College of the Atlantic, which is fascinating in its own right. The program is excellent for adults who have an interest in Maine sea life and enjoy a cruise. The Park Ranger was both enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Not only did we see eider ducks, gray & harbor seals, dolphins, gulls (of course), heard about the bird populations of the various islands circled, and viewed some of the lovely "cottages" along the cliffs, but then were enthralled with the video presentation of "Diver Ed'. He dives to the sea floor to collect specimens of starfish, lobsters, sea cucumber (the source of chondroitin!), and other life forms which we then were permitted to touch and examine closely before they were returned to their habitat. "Diver Ed" has a great partner in his wife, who gives a running commentary of what we are seeing on the video screen. It is a true bargain and delight and we were privileged to have the opportunity!
