We were surprised to find "the boat" was a sailboat......but it turned out to be a perfect experience-under sail and with the (quiet) motor when gently pursuing dolphins.....the Capt. and crew were friendly and very hospitable....I would definately use this service again- |

What could beat a perfect sunny, mild breeze on a late November day, than taking a 2-hour sailing trip on a beautiful ketch in Boca Ciega Bay. Who cares about the dolphins when you have a cooler full of water, soda, and plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the slapping of the waves and the sound of the jib and main-sail rigging rounding out this nautical symphony. Did we see dolphins? Of course. Granted the dolphins were with young so they were sequestered in a shallow section of the bay, but regardless, this is the best deal in the whole of Pinellas County. Please don't tell anyone about this. I'd like to keep it a secret!
FYI, You are able to bring beer and your own snacks on board. But that's all I'm telling. |

My husband and I took a sunset cruise on Saturday evening. The information provided on Zerve about what to bring and what to wear was very helpful. We did struggle a bit with finding the marina but we gave ourselves enough time (per Zerve's recommendation) and we found it. The crew was friendly, helpful, and informative. The cruise itself was good but we thought it was a tad bit overpriced. The cost was the only drawback. |

It was a warm day in November and the dolphins showed up pretty quickly. They came close to the boat and also we saw one jump out of the water twice. It was an exciting experience and the captain and his mate made the trip much more enjoyable. |

We had some down time during our stay in St. Pete Beach and kids were starting to make me nervous so I did a Google search of things to do and found this. I ordered tickets online and showed up 15 min. prior to boarding. The crew were outstanding - very knowledgeable and accommodating, especially with our younger children (20mos and 5 yrs old), The boat was clean and in great shape we saw at least a dozen or so Dolphin and had a couple that followed us around the bay for about an hour, it was relaxing and fun for all. My 5 yr old daughter said it was the most fun she's ever had, and we spent three days in Disney prior to the cruise. All in all it was time and money well spent. |

Great captains on Fantasea. Several of the kids were on a sailboat the first time, and enjoyed the adventure. Plenty of sail and wind, but not scary for anyone.
Beautiful sunset, next time I might choose an afternoon tour, since the last 30 mins is in the dark after sunset. |

We booked this at the last minute on Sunday 10/16. Booking was easy via Zerve and the confirmation process via email to my iPhone at the Dock worked perfectly. There were enough people for 2 of the Ketch's to sail. We were on the Magic with Captain Dan and Captain Clint. We learned about the Ketch, the sails, and the keel, and an explanation of the sailing angle. We sailed Boca Ciega bay, to the mouth of the bay and got to see a great sunset. You can take your own drinks / snacks. They had a ice chest, you can use to keep stuff cold, and had soft drinks available. We took a plastic carafe and plastic wine glasses and enjoyed wine. Don't go expecting to get out in the Gulf, we didn't and weren't disappointed with the trip. Neither of us had been on any sailing vessel before, so we had a lot of fun. Captain Dan and Clint were very accommodating and friendly.
The Magic under sail was a lot of fun. This was a taste of sailing for us and we will be looking for more. |

Our son found this tour in our book on Florida which we had brought with us from the UK. We had already been to Discovery Cove but he and his Dad fancied this too. I don't sail so I was a little unsure. However it was a wonderful visit, the guy's were great onboard, explained everything. I loved the sail and would recommend it to anyone. We were not so lucky on the dolphin spotting but it didn't matter, we saw a couple of fins. Book this tour you will love it too.
Regards
Sue, Dorian & Jonathan. |

Overall, the crew (of 2) was very attentive making sure everyone was taken care of. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had dolphins playing next to the boat at times. We were able to see the sunset and a full moon on our cruise. We did not go out into the Gulf but we didn't need to. We went to the inlet and saw everything perfectly. My father was not able to sit at the front of the boat because of a back injury but there was a bench (with back support) where we could sit and enjoy conversation with each other and the captain. I would recommend! |

We brought our own bottle of wine with plastic cups, but other beverages provided. Captain was very knowledgeable about the area. He has a love of sailing and he showed it. After a long week in the sun, this evening sail was so delightful, peaceful, and simply relaxing. We went in mid-October. Jackets were needed for some, but not all. Blankets were provided if needed. Several in our party, thought this was the best part of the whole trip. |

I would recommend the dolphin watching tour. 2 hours is enough time, it wasn't expensive, and the crew was very nice. We saw dolphins so they mean what they say. |
