Unplug from stress & plug-in to nature!

This was our second sailing experience and it's easily becoming our favorite way to experience the sea. There is a definite sense of stress melting away as you become one with the ocean, sea life, sun & wind. I dont know if it's the quietness of the sailing vessel, the close proximity of the your seat to the water, or the fact your driven by the wind, but it was absolutely wonderful! Sailing to the opening of the Gulf of Mexico and looking out to seemingly endless blue waves, while watching the red sun disappear under the horizon was inspiring. An excellent reminder of just how small we are, and how amazing our blue planet is! The sunset sail was excellent & we'll be sure to repeat it at our first opportunity. We have only 2 recommendations: seat cushions & a complimentary glass of wine or beer. Then it would be perfect!!

loved the sail! very romantic. loved that we were encouraged to bring our own alcohol. these guys could improve on two things: there should be cushions available (you should bring your own - 2 hours on the hard deck kills your butt). also, I wish the captains knew more facts about the huge mansions we sail by. I really wanted to know more about the houses and who lived in them. But we did see dolphins on the sail, which was awesome.

My husband, myself, and my 22 year old daughter were looking for something to do our last night at the beach. My daughter googled whatever and this was on the list. I called and we made the reservations. when we arrived at the boat we were surprised to see it was going to be a sailboat. We were expecting a larger boat. The capt. was welcoming and knowlegeable. We sailed out to the mouth of the Gulf to watch the sunset. We saw dolphins on the way out and back into port. The sunset was beautiful and we were able to get many pictures. There were 9 people total and then the captain and 1 crew member so we had pleanty of room to be comfortable and move around carefully. The 3 of us had a great time and would reccomend it completely. We chose the sunset cruise because we enjoy seeing the Gulf sunset so much. So beautiful. Thanks for allowing me to share and recomend.

The crew was great, and sailed us right along the dolphins. It was our first time on a sail boat and we had a great time.

Fantastic Afternoon...

My husband and I decided to go sailing and booked the Dolphin Watching Trip. It was spectacular. The captain and his mate are incredibly friendly people, the atmosphere on the boat was great. We were somewhat lucky that all of the other guests were adults too and everybody was very respectful. There was soft music playing and dolphins were swimming along our boat, it was like a 2 hour vacation. We are locals and have gone on many boat rides in the area. This one is very different from the screaming and obnoxious behaviour that you find on some of the tourist boats. It is absolutely worth the money, bring sunscreen and were comfortable light clothes. You will love it.

Nice Boat Ride

After 3 trip cancellations, we finally got away from the dock! Sailed accross the bay and found a dolphin in the canals behind some reidences. Spent the rest of the two hour trip just sailing back and forth accross the bay. It was a nice boat ride, but not many dolphins. My wife and I are avid sailers on the East coast of FL, and usually see more dolphins whenever we go out. Perhaps the local dolphins were taking the day off. It happens. The crew were cordial, and it was a nice boat ride while we visited the area. Probably would not go again.

I am a local St Pete Beach resident and had my two grown sons here for the Holidays. I have been on this sailboat several times before, one time with my sales team as a group fun outing, one time with some clients from out of town and once with a date ! Every experience was a lot of fun! This time the weather was not the greatest and the water was much rougher but once again had a fabulous time! The crew on the boat is fun and I have always been lucky to have a pretty neat bunch of people sharing the ride! I highly recommend this sunset trip to locals and visitors! Well worth the money!

Unexpected experience

We booked this at the last minute on Sunday 10/16. Booking was easy via Zerve and the confirmation process via email to my iPhone at the Dock worked perfectly. There were enough people for 2 of the Ketch's to sail. We were on the Magic with Captain Dan and Captain Clint. We learned about the Ketch, the sails, and the keel, and an explanation of the sailing angle. We sailed Boca Ciega bay, to the mouth of the bay and got to see a great sunset. You can take your own drinks / snacks. They had a ice chest, you can use to keep stuff cold, and had soft drinks available. We took a plastic carafe and plastic wine glasses and enjoyed wine. Don't go expecting to get out in the Gulf, we didn't and weren't disappointed with the trip. Neither of us had been on any sailing vessel before, so we had a lot of fun. Captain Dan and Clint were very accommodating and friendly. The Magic under sail was a lot of fun. This was a taste of sailing for us and we will be looking for more.

Overall, the crew (of 2) was very attentive making sure everyone was taken care of. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had dolphins playing next to the boat at times. We were able to see the sunset and a full moon on our cruise. We did not go out into the Gulf but we didn't need to. We went to the inlet and saw everything perfectly. My father was not able to sit at the front of the boat because of a back injury but there was a bench (with back support) where we could sit and enjoy conversation with each other and the captain. I would recommend!
