Dolphin Study Eco-Tour Simply Outstanding

We enjoyed every minute of the Dolphin Study Eco-Tour. Immediately after leaving the pier, the 2 young girls aboard were engaged and given work sheets to fill out, documenting the details of how many dolphins were sighted, other wildlife encountered, etc. The guide was excellent, giving wildlife information along with humorous anecdotes. We saw and followed around about a dozen dolphins. We identified several dolphins from a photo album of known area dolphins. Our guide took excellent photos of several of the dolphins and gave copies made on the boat to each tour group. The shelling opportunity was fun and all found many shells. The boat pulled up to the beach, and we easily stepped down a couple of rungs on a ladder onto the sand. Our guide took a photo of each group and gave each group a copy. Canned soft drinks were available on the trip. Our seats were in a shaded area. In summary, the trip made the participants comfortable, was informative and entertaining, and was very memorable. Highly recommended. |

This is a must do if you are in southern Florida. A 3 hour trip which is a must for families old or young. Kids are given books with dolphin photos and try to identify them by their fins. Meanwhile the naturalist, biologist on board takes his own photos and interacts with everyone. He also hands out photos to everyone during the trip -for free- Yes that's right FREE!!. He also took our picture while we were shelling and gave out copies to everyone again for nothing. The whole trip was fabulous and never did we feel that we were being rushed to get it over just to get the next group on board. I can't wait until next year to do it again!!!!! If they see something in the water they check it out not just dolphins. I can't recommend this enough. DO IT.

Could not have been more pleased with this tour. Captain and Naturalist were excellent hosts of this Eco-Tour that met or exceeded our every expectation of seeing many dolphins up close as well as few sea turtles, several osprey, many other birds and a manatee. |

Dolphin Explorer - Dolphins, Shells, & More

Aboard the Dolphin Explorer, Captain Chris and Naturalist Kent treated us to an informative exciting cruise. We saw LOTS of dolphins, a stingray, birds, turtles, and a MANATEE. A break on a deserted area beach yielded excellent shelling opportunity. Throughout, Naturatlist Kent offered up an abundance of info about the dolphins - their habits, behavior, etc. As a survey team, these guys have been keeping tabs on resident dolphins for many years and really know them personally. At the end of the trip we were handed photographs of the dolphins we had seen - right there on the spot! The children were given a coloring diary to keep track of the dolphins of the day also. This has got to be the best dolphin tour Naples has to offer. |

This trip was a 60th birthday present for a friend and she loved it. It was fun and educational. We saw many dolphins who were very intent on impressing us with their "moves." The captains dog Riley accompanied us and just loves the dolphins. It was really fun to watch the dog and dolphins communicate. The naturalist was very informative both scientifically and historicaly. We had a good group on the boat and it really was a fun day! |
