| It was a beautiful day, and the cruise was lovely. The biologist on board, as well as the other gentlemen, were very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We saw many dolphins, and sea birds- including frigates, terns, and cormorants. The stop at Key Island was great- a lovely spot. We even saw Florida panther tracks. The younger kids on board had things to do, and it definitely kept their interest. Definitely recommend it. | ||||||

| This is a great tour. The guides are knowledgable and very nice. I've been on several dolphin tours and end up with a lot of pictures of the water (the dolphins are much faster than I am)! This is the only tour I've seen where the guide takes pictures and then prints them out for you before you leave...at no extra charge! He took some amazing pictures. I highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| We got very close to several dolphins, most of which were accurately identified, by name, by our expert. We also learned about some of the birds that frequent the area, ie Pelicans, Osprey and even Frigate birds, - (not to mention the plastic Owl on top of one of the nearby buildings, which was also correctly identified). Other aspects of the cruise were also very enjoyable, such as the complimentary drinks on board and the beach stop where so many varieties of shells were collected and identified by our marine expert. These we could take away in a bag which was supplied by our ship's crew, together with photographic memories of what was an unforgettable experience. This trip is highly recommended. | ||||||

| Our trip began from the Marco Rose Marina, on Marco Island, Florida. The day began with confusion; it wasn't easy to find the boat's location from the scanty information given by the check-in agent, and there was no diagram clearly showing where the Dolphin Explorer was moored. But we managed to find it in time, and sat in back of the boat. The cruise was very exciting, as we saw many dolphins, and learned how to ID individuals by the particular markings on their dorsal fins. Lots of fun to see the different ones, and the same ones more than once. We also visited a pristine uninhabited beach on a long island, where there were literally miles of unoccupied beautiful white sand, with lots of shells for finding. Very fun! The naturalist(s) on the boat were quite knowledgeable, though I questioned their photographic skills (shooting into sun without lens hoods). But it was a beautiful day, and a beautiful trip, all in all. | ||||||

| CAP'T CHRIS & KENT MADE OUR TOUR AND CRUISE A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THEY OBVIOUSLY LOVE WHAT THEY DO AND ANSWER QUESTIONS READILY. THE TRIP IS IDEAL FOR ALL AGES AND ON OUR CRUISE WE WERE SPOTTING DOLPHINS WITHIN 3 MINUTES OF LEAVING THE MARINA ON MARCO. EVERYONE ON THE BOAT GETS INVOLVED IN 'SPOTTING'. THE BEACH WALK WAS A SURPRISE TO OUR GROUP DUE TO THE SHELLS AND CREATURES FOUND ON THE BEACH. A TOUR THAT IS WORTH THE MONEY. | ||||||

| This tour was safe, informative, exciting, and thourough. Is not only about Dolphins, which we absolutely loved, but it also provides information about the different kinds of birds, and other life found in such beautiful environment! Worth every penny we spent, and will now invest in taking our five children on it! Looking forward to going again! Special thanks to James and Captain Chris for giving us a tour to remember! Stay safe! Iris | ||||||

| The captain and the naturalist were both very informative and did everything possible to get us up close and personal with the dolphins and manatee. The naturalist, James, was very helpful in pointing out the different wildlife and explaining about the mangrove islands. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the Marco Island/Naples area. | ||||||

| A GROUP OF US LOOKED THROUGH MANY OF THE BOAT EXCURSION OPTIONS AVAILABLE IN THE AREA - CAPE CORAL-FT MEYERS -NAPLES. AND DECIDED TO TRY THIS ONE BECAUSE IT WAS LONGER THAN MOST - 3 HRS. AND ALLOWED YOU TO GET OF THE BOAT ON A DESERTED ISLAND BEACH AND EXPLORE IT FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. QUICKLY UPON DEPARTURE FROM THE DOCK WE SAW A GROUP OF DOLPHINS AND WERE GIVEN A LOT OF TIME OT OBSERVE THEM. SOON AFTER WE SPOTTED A 2ND GROUP OF DOLPHINS WHCICH DECIDED TO SWIM ALONG SIDE THE BOAT AS IT SPED IN THE WATER. IT WAS GREAT. LATER WE SAW BIRDS OF VARIOUS TYPES AND WENT TO THE BEACH ARE WHICH WAS TOTALLY UNSPOILED. SOME PEOPLE COLLECTED SHELLS AND OTHERS WADED IN THE WARM WATERS. iF POSSIBLE Y BRING A SWIMSUIT AND REALLY ENJOY; THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THAT ONE OF OUR GROUP WAS SOMEWHAT DISABLED AND COULD NOT CLIMB OFF THE BOAT AND ONTO THE BEACH VIA A LADDER. SHE SAID SHE WAS OK SITTING WITH THE CREW AND RELAXING. WE HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS TRIP ALOTHOUGH IT MAY BE SOMEWHAT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHERS. | ||||||

| Even though the time of year (August) we took the tour isn't the best insofar as wildlife viewing is concerned, we saw several dolphins, including a mother and her youngster (two years old), a group of manatees, and lots of birds, including a young osprey and a frigate bird. Ken, our on-board naturalist, took some wonderful photos and gave us an assortment of them to take home. We will definitely take this tour again in the future. | ||||||

| Unfortunately we were not able to see too many dolphins during our trip and were not able to make close encounters. However, the crew provided us with plenty of information related to the wildlife in the area and tried to engage people by having a challenge quiz.. Kids were provided with pictures and other mementos of the trip. | ||||||
