costly excursion, not sure if it was worth it

Costly boat ride. They say you help research dolphins, but not really so. Crew was very friendly, and we did see dolphins, but I would not recommend the trip to anyone. Spending 45 minutes on a beach shelling was really a waste of time. Shelling is free anywhere in FL, so that 45 minutes was costly. I was really disappointed in what we got for 54.00 per person. |

We had a wonderful time watching and identifying dolphins. Our entire family enjoyed the trip including our twin 2 year old grandsons. It is a highly recommended experience! |

Family with teenagers. took the morning slot, and was glad as the weather was perfect- afternoon would be brutal in the sun, there is very little shade on the boat. we spotted about 17 dolphins and 3 manatee groupings. the boat is small, which makes for great viewing. the sandy beach was wonderful...we packed a picnic basket and had a short snack while shell hunting.
This is not something I would bring small ( under 5) children on; we had a number of them on our trip and they were uninterested after about the first 30 minutes. there is no real bathroom to speak of...just a small "head" in the rear of the boat, and that seemed to be an issue for little ones too.
Bring binoculars, cameras, sweatshirts for the morning, and beach towels. sunscreen is a must. we thoroughly enjoyed this.. it was just a great way to spend a morning with our family. |

We enjoyed the narrative provided- the guide did an excellent job. Dolphins were very entertaining, and the ospreys were magnificent. |

This was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Both the captain and the naturalist were extremely friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend this tour. I had two small children ages 2 and 5 and they loved it!! |

We were attracted to this tour because we wanted to see dolphins and that is exactly what we saw. We were pleased that the captain got as close to the dolphins as he could. The guide that was with us was very friendly and knowledgable. All in all, we would recommend this tour. |

We took our 7-year-old daughter on this trip and she loved it! The staff were excellent at getting the kids engaged. We saw a dolphin before we even left the dock! Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone! |

We were with our granddaughter and the group sitting in front of us was a mom, her parents, and thier grandson who was the same age as our granddaughter. They had done the trip the year before and were back because they enjoyed it so much. Set the stage for a great trip! |

This is a different type of boat cruise in that it's specific in spotting dolphins. We can do without the island stop looking for shells. It was hot and there was no shelter, no drinks. |

We saw 20 dolphins on the trip. The dolphins swam along the side of the boat and were playing in the wake of the boat. The kids (ages 5 and 7) had tons of fun and enjoyed learning about dolphins and earned their badges. Keeywadin beach for shelling was lovely. Great value. Look forward to repeating the trip next time we are in Florida. Highly recommend this trip. |

All four of us adults had a tremendous time on this tour!...The Guide was so good and educated all of us! We loved the dolphins eating fish and playing so close to the boat. Also, the birds were awesome to observe. We couldn't believe that the photos which the Guide took were given to us! The Tour was a terrific experience and one of the most memorable experiences of our whole Florida trip. We would highly recommend it to others. |

We are a family of 5 with three girls age 10, 8, and 6 and we absolutely loved this tour. It was on a smaller boat with a well educated marine biologist on board expaining things very well. Kids liked getting involved with the research kits that they hand out and the shelling on the island was quite good.
Only complaint was that it ended too soon! |
