We liked the small boat and group - allows a good viewing. Professionals on board, lot to learn about animals and nature in a way that respects them. Also for children very interesting. |

We've taken the Dolphin Study Eco-Tour twice now in 3 years and would take it every year if we could. Our guide, Kent, was very personable and knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife. The captain(can't remember his name) was great too. We saw all sorts of incredible animals. Take this tour! |

It was exciting seeing the dolphins in their natural habitat. They seem to enjoy interacting with the group
of people on the boat. Well worth the money. You even get a photo taken to take with you @ no charge.
Don't forget to leave a gratuity. The crew deserve it. Enjoy! |

We decided on the Dolphin Explorer because we wanted to see dolphins. Well, we saw them early and we saw them often. The captain and tour guide were very knowledgeable about the dolphins and birds in the area. Photo opportunities were aplenty. Part of our adventure included docking on an uninhabited island to do some shelling. We found some great shells, including a star fish. Our guide took plenty of pictures and provided photos to the group (at no extra charge). There were a few extras that you'd expect to pay extra for, but you don't. However, we did tip for the exceptional experience. This is a must if vacationing in the Marco Island/Naples area. Enjoy! |

We had an exciting day spotting dolphins. The dolphins played and jumped in the wake of the boat and we were able to photograph them. The Naturalist that took us on the tour was informative and pleasant and took his own photos and then printed them out and gave each family some of the photos. We saw pelicans, ospreys, and other birds up close. The beach where we collected shells and swam was private and absolutely beautiful. We had a memorable time. |

My family enjoyed our time with Capt Chris and mate. We saw many dolphins and birds. The information given as we traveled along was priceless. It was very educational. My granddaughters, ages 5 and 7 learned quite a bit. The shelling at keywadin was fun and swimming was fabulous. Great trip. I highly recommend it. |

Our family of 9 went on the Dolphin Explorer in mid-April 2011 and what a perfect day out it was! Kent and Chris on the boat were so kind and knowledgable, friendly and witty. We saw at least 15 dolphins during the 3-hour trip, explored a magical, remote island for a swim and certainly increased our knowledge of the wildlife and terrain in and around Marco Island. This was an absolutely delightful trip - so much so that my children wouldn't go to SeaWorld afterward - they said there would be no way they could have topped this getting so close to Dolphins, let alone seeing them outside their natural habitat would have been heartbreaking. I certainly admire Kent and Chris for being able to do their scientific studies of dolphins and ospreys while at the same time creating a very entertaining and interesting event for others. They provided activities for the children enabling them to learn, identify and understand these fabulous creatures. We highly recommend this! 100%! |

The crew was great. They were very knowledgeable and were very considerate. The captain made sure to go slow and circle the area dolphins were in order for everyone to have a chance to see them and take pictures. We were glad we chose to go in the morning. It started to get hot as we were returning. |

I enjoyed the geographical history and the information on the flora and fauna of SW FL. We saw LOTS of dophins! I admit to hoping for fewer people and more in depth science, but I can be a geek like that. The many fat pink people sodden with sunscreen was the only drawback, but that was the client base, not the cruise leaders and their money is as green as the cause, so. I may have read the website wrong, but I thought it would be 5-7 people per tour. Ours was around 23 on a pontoon. Judgements aside, I learned many interesting things, had an aside on local permaculture initiatives with the well educated guide and, did I mention -we saw LOTS of dolphins. thanks, gentlemen. |
