My husband & I had a great time on the dolphin cruise! We saw several groups of dolphins and got some great pictures and videos. We also enjoyed the stop on an island for shelling. The naturalist who led the tour was very interesting and made the morning fun and educational. This was my favorite activity on our vacation to Marco Island. It was definitely worth the time. If we're ever back in the area we will go on this tour again. |

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and the educational information offered as we went along.
We did not have our grandchildren with us this time, but we were impressed by the attention that was given to the children on the boat, and how important they were made to feel as "dolphin spotters". This trip is perfect for people of all ages, and we will certainly go again. |

We had a great time with the kids on this trip (3 and 7). Our guides were fantastic. The kids were so enthusiastic about spotting and identifying the dolphins. The eco-education was an unexpected bonus. This was a great trip to share with three generations of our family. We saw lots of dolphins and learned a few things along the way. It was a very pleasant tour. |

My wife and I accompanied our son, daughter-in-law and their children (ages 2 and 6) for this 3 hr. tour. We thought it was very reasonable for the quality of tour and would definitely recommend it for people of all ages. It gave a wonderful view of areas of Marco/Naples that are only accessible by boat. We saw LOTS of dolphins and had fun in trying to identify them from pictures. This was a nice educational experience for our 6 yr. old grandson. The stop at the island was a wonderful opportunity to see an island that can only be reached by boat - would be fun to spend more time on this island (however, without facilities). It was absolutely beautiful! The guide as well as the Captain were extremely informed and shared their knowledge with the group. I would sign up again for this without a doubt and recommend without any hesitation. The highest of star ratings! |

My husband and I were visiting from Boston and decided to try the Sea Excursions Dolphin Study Eco-Tour and had a great time. The naturalist on board was extremely knowledable and provided a ton of information on the animals. We saw many, many dolphins with several that played in our wake jumping at least 10 feet in the air. Stopped at one of the outer barrier islands to enjoy the beautiful beach and collect shells. We where presented with several great photos of our day to take home with us. A really nice afternoon and highy recommended. |

The cruise was delightful... the crew accommodating, warm and friendly.
We saw several pods of dolphins and had plenty of opportunity for picture taking
and getting our questions answered. There was a mixed group on our cruise.
family, couple and friends groups and they kept us all excited and entertained. |

We were able to watch lots of dolphins and my group really enjoyed that. Weather was quite cold that day so a little uncomfortable but I guess you can't change the weather. We thought the stop on the island for shelling was a waste of time though. There really wasn't anything worthwhile on that beach. Maybe skip the shelling part and do a little more wildlife/bird watching. |

The leader of the trip was extremely nice and personable and the captain of the boat went out of his way to allow us to see the dolphins. We saw many of them all over, feeding at the seawall and playing in and out of our wake. One receives a little information about the dolphins. Bring a list of questions if you want to know more. |

This eco-tour was wonderful. We met very friendly boat crew. They were care about us. Our adventure begun from welcoming smiles and short information about our trip. The guide was perfect speaker. He told a lot interesting facts and information about dolphins life, habits, mood ... The trip took 3 hours during which you could commonly put yourself in an environment, the ocean and communication with marvelous creatures.
We were sooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we are definitely recommend this tour for everyone!!!!! |

The Captain and his marine biologist first mate were knowledgeable, friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. They were equally pleased to discuss dolphin ecology with the adults or to help two little girls fill in their dolphin count clipboards. A delightful way to spend a morning- and we had the added satisfaction of adding a data point or two to the ongoing dolphin study. |

Highly recommend!!! We had the best day!!! We saw dolphins within 15 minutes of leaving the marina. They played and jumped in the wake of our boat and stayed with us for quite some time. The tour guides were wonderful and so informative. They got everybody involved with identifying the dolphins. It was a GREAT family adventure. The shelling on the island was so cool!!! We collected at least 50 Florida Fighting Conch shells to bring home so the girls can give to their classmates..AMAZING!!!!!! Also, ride was smooth and comfortable...fine for my pregnant sister and 4 year old....not to mention..I have gotten sea sick before but I had NO problem on this excursion.. |

I am a repeat visitor to Marco Island and I never forget to go out on tour with Captain Chris and Naturalist Kent. I have never been disappointed and never get bored with the program. I appreciate everything the folks do for that program. Every time I have gone out on the Dolphin Explorer we have seen Dolphin. I am beginning to recognize some of them. I recommend this trip for everyone of every age!! |

We bought tickets for the Dolphin Study as Christmas presents for our 2 kids and their 3 cousins. They ranged in ages from 12-21. Everyone enjoyed the excursion. We were able to observe dolphins during at least three separate sightings. We took lots of pictures plus got beautiful souvenir photos. The two crew members were very knowledgeable and patient with everyone's questions. We loved seeing the dolphins, but just as much fun was walking along the beach of the barrier island and looking for shells. It was the best place for finding shells that we've have seen in the area! It was awesome! My only cautions would be if you're planning to take kids then wait until they are old enough to appreciate the experience. I would say at least school age. There was a family on our excursion with two very small children who were restless and fussy. This is an educational trip and I think they should have a minimum age limit so that everyone can enjoy the experience. Also, since we took the trip during the last week of December, the air was very chilly especially when the boat was going faster. Layers of warm clothes are highly recommended! The kids all loved the experience and we would happily do it again. |
