We took our 7 year old grandson along with brother and sister in law on the 9:00 am tour June 23rd. Not only was it very informative for all, but a truly great little tour of the local waters. We saw 20 dolpins which our grandson loved trying to identify from the pictures provided and then getting the photos that were taken during the tour when we left was really special. He can't wait to take his shells and pictures for show and tell!

I would like to say on 6/17/2010 my wife and I as well as my twin 11 yr. old girls had our wonderful dolphin explorer experience the two gentlemen were not only very intellegent they were also very very passionate about their jobs. I have to say that due to extreme heat i recommend the early cruise however would like to say they provided plenty of water on board. we saw at least 18- 20 dolphins a manatee, myself and another man saw a panther, and several bird species including baby osprey, the photos are tricky unless you have a very good fast camera may want to consider a video. But i almost forgot to mention the crew provided us with 3 awesome photos of my family on the private shelling beach, I think it was lucky charms the dolphin jumping out of the water in our wake, and the baby osprey. awesome qaulity photos all frameable.scale of 1-10 i give this an 11. the price is very fair for 3 hours. so kick back bring your sunscreen and a snack and have a great time. there is a reason this was associated with National Geographic .GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great time taking in the scenery. There were many birds, several dolphins and even 3 manatees! The island we stopped at was great for shelling. The weather was beautiful and our hosts were great. We were also given several high quality photographs that were taken during our excursion. The highlight of the trip was when the dolphins played in the wake of the outboards.

The Dophin Study Eco-Tour and Cruise was wonderful. The tour team are friendly and knowledgeable. We saw 23 different dolphins and two manatees, I took my four year old twins and they just loved it! This was the highlight of our weekend get-a-way.

My sisters, mother, and I recently enjoyed the Eco-Tour. While a lot of the dolphin tour and information initially seemed to be geared toward children, we (as adults) also learned a great deal. Our favorite part of the tour was the visit to the small island, where we found many beautiful shells and enjoyed walking on the undisturbed, white sand beach. (In fact, this beach was our favorite part of our entire visit to South Florida!) The pace of the tour was relaxed enough for my mom (who has limited mobility), but interesting enough for people like me who like to see and do as much as possible in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend this activity to people of all ages and activity levels!

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed this tour. The crew members were very friendly and knowledgeable. They provided our 4 year-old daughter with a "dolphin challenge" card that made it more enjoyable and engaging for her. They also gave her a patch at the end that she is so proud of! We saw about a dozen dolphins on our tour. The crew took pictures of all the families/couples who went on the tour, and then printed out those pictures for us to keep when the tour was over. They also printed out some fantastic photos they took of dolphins and birds while on the tour. They also provided complimentary drinks, which was very much appreciated on a hot day! We would recommend this tour to anyone, but especially to families. It is very much worth it for the price!

Everyone had a great time. We saw 10 dolphins. Guides were knowledgeable, interesting, and funny. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

If you like nature shown and presented in a different way, you have to book this trip. During the 3 hours it was just the perfect mixture between education, fun and relaxing. Our twins (6 years old) were enthusiastically counting and identifying the dolphins. Highly recommended!

Three hours very well spent! The knowledge and friendliness of our guides was extraordinary. We had a wonderful time, saw plenty of dolphins and other wildlife, got to roam an isolated snow white beach, took scads of beautiful pictures and had fun with our tour mates, who turned from strangers to friends. If you're thinking about this tour, do it!!

The naturalist and driver were both very informative. They gave us some great photos and we saw lots of dolphins and birds. The shelling was great too!

I would highly recommend this activity to people of all ages. The captain and the guide provided a wonderful experience filled with information . Not only did they educate us on the habits of dolphins, they delighted us with numerous sightings of these delightful creatures. We saw families of dolphins as they played and fed. We also saw many different birds in their habitats and learned about them. The only regret we had was we did not wear our swimsuits. The beach we were taken to was so incredibly beautiful. We so enjoyed collecting seashells and found many treasures from the sea! Thank you for an outstanding experience! We will be back again!

Wonderful trip with Kent and Chris at the helm. There were about 12 tourists on board so it made it easy to get around the boat (at other times of the year they can double the amount but I think that would make it far too cramped for my liking). Saw loads of dolphins, swimming around and under the boat and leaping in the water in the boat's wake. Kent showed us photos of individual dolphins (or, more accurately, their dorsal fins) so that we were able to recognise some (Gizmo for one, with a very distinctive dorsal fin). Also saw other wildlife like frigate birds and a nest of ospreys. We were able to take lots of photos but we were all also presented with photos of some of the dolphins we had seen, plus the ospreys in their nest, at the end of the tour. Thoroughly recommended.

This tour was perfect. Captain and Naturalist were very informative and professional. We learned a lot about local wildlife and surroundings. Saw lots of dolphins, Osprey, etc. Walking on the beach & shelling was very relaxing. Thanks to the staff for a great day!!!
