Door County Lighthouse Tour

The Lighthouse tour was great. John our driver was a Door County native so he was very informative and gave great history of each lighthouse and towns. We would recommend the tour to anyone.

Loved the tour! John, our guide and driver was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun! Patti, our docent, at Eagle Bluff Lighthouse was superb! The tour was extensive and interesting, but the last hour was a bit long-could have used a bit more padding on the trolley seats! :) THANKS!

John, our tour guide, did a wonderful job entertaining us throughout the 6 hour tour. Scenery was grand, tours were informative, and despite a gray day we learned more about Door County, got some excellent photos and the day went quickly. Lighthouses and history about them from guides and John were very helpful. Lunch was ok, very nice setting but food was only average at best. John kept everyone engaged and part of the group, was not afraid to give his opinions and recommendations. Would highly recommend the tour.

The tour was great! John our tour guide was excellent. It's a good tour to take at teh start of your trip, not the end reason being you'll want to explore more of Door County when you're done due to the fact you learn so much. Overall very good. Only negative was the lunch provided. We went to a restaurant resort and where offered only two plates to chose from. A fish salad and then a chicken salad sandwich. The chicken honestly looked like dog food and no one had good thing to say really. When my wife asked if there where other options available the waitress snapped at her and said she had already put the order in and walked away. So other than the lunch it was great!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this tour was. My driver/tour guide John gave so much information about Door County and all of the lighthouses that I felt like I had been coming here for years. The lighthouses were beautiful, the lunch was delicious, the scenery was incredible, the information was a tourist's dream. If you are lucky enough to get John as your tour guide, you will know exactly what I am talking about when I say that no other tour can possible compare with this one.

The driver/guide (John) was knowledgeable, jovial, and amusing. The lunch was delightful.

After coming to Door County for many years this was the first time we have ever made use of the trolley experience. It was great. Enjoyed meeting other people; the lunch was very good and the sites superb. Fun to be able to be taken to these interesting spots rather than finding them on our own and getting lost in the process. The driver was very personable.

My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. John, our tour guide shared so much information on Door County history and great places to visit it helped immensely with the rest of our stay - we knew exactly what we wanted to do and see after our time with John! The only 'issue' we had was the restaurant was a bit of a problem due to medical dietary issues we have as only two meal options were offered that neither of us could have and we weren't allowed to order off the menu. We were able to work something out with the waitress, but she was not real happy with our last minute requests. We suggest calling ahead and talking with the restaurant if you have dietary concerns that might need to be addressed. Once we got the menu straightened out, the food was delicious, and the tour itself will be a great memory we have of Door County!
