Door County Trolley

I highly recommend this tour. You can be totally relaxed while your trolley driver takes you to the various wineries. There is also plently of time to pick up a few bottles (or cases) of wine from each location.

The Trolley Wine Tour was fun and we learned quite a bit about the wines of Door County as well as the history and geography of the area. Our guide, Daryl, was terrific. We were treated like honored guests by everyone at the wineries as well as at the delicious lunch.

The tour guide was very knowledgable and interesting. Lunch at Gordon Lodge was delicious. Had a great time. You get your money's worth.

Hopefully you will have John as your tour guide. He has lived in Door County most of his life and seems to know everyone. He is very informative and funny. The 6 hours passed too quickly. If you can only do one tour in Door County, do this one!!

It was a fun tour of the Fish Creek area. The guide was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job of narrating the happenings of the area.

Our lighthouse tour was great! The guide, John was a local raised in the area and gave many tips for activities and restaurants. This is a great way to get a lay of the land and it made the rest of our trip easier as we explored Door County and its backroads the next three days. Lunch was fantastic at Gordon Lodge, elegant atmosphere and great sevice. I was expecting a box lunch when the description said lunch was included in the tour. The timing on the tour was nearly perfect, just enough time to view each of the lighthouses. I would highly recommend this tour.

This trip provides a good overview of the Door County layout. The driver is friendly and tries hard to entertain. If you like lots and lots of chatter, corny jokes, and info, you will love this tour. It does seem as if he is trying really hard to sell certain destinations such as restaurants much of the time. It is a full five hours as billed. I would have probably enjoyed a full three hours a bit more. The lunch is okay. You are limited to two choices, a sandwich or a salad, but they are tasty enough. It is fairly priced.

We thoroughly enjoyed the lighthouse tour! John did a great job not just telling us about the lighthouses, but about the Door County area. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

My husband and I and our kids (22 year old daughter, 18 year old son) loved this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and a great entertainer. We had a great time in Door County, with many exciting activities. We all enjoyed the ghost tour, and my son said it was his favorite activity. Not too scary, but very interesting! Great scenery, interesting history, nice trolley! We'd all recommend this tour!

We had a great time on the wine trolley! It shows that the trip will last 5 hours but it was probably closer to 4 1/2 hours. At first that sounded like a long time but the time went very fast! We visited 4 different wineries and had lunch. The wine pours we had were quite large so by the time we had lunch it was very much needed. I would highly recommend the Trolley tour!

The narrative tour was fun and interesting. The guide provided much information about the region and his own experiences with living in the area. A great choice was made for lunch and everyone had a good time. A great little tour. We will return to the area again to check out other sites.

The haunted trolley tour was a good way to see Door County and learn about its history. Spooky, but not too scary. I enjoyed it!

I so wanted to remember the guides name but I have now forgotten. It is the guy in this picture on the survey. He was so great.

AWESOME tour and Ed - our guide was an awesome storyteller and just made it a lot of fun. Loved the ending at the Lighthouse at Peninsula State Park with the sun setting in the background - things dont get much better than that!!!!! Very nice way to end a great tour! And also the music on the way back to the orchard was a cool and fun idea! We will be back in a 2 weeks for the Pub Tour cause we liked this one so much! Thank you!!!

Our tour guide gave us a longer-than-advertised tour of the scenery along the bay side of Door County. The tour included several great historical references and a few stops for picture taking. The tour made our short visit to Door County seem too short and gave us a greater desire to visit again soon with our teens.
