Door County Trolley

Guide appeared to be new and needed experience. Several times he lost the train of the story and had to regroup.

Our tour guide was well informed and a lot of fun! We enjoyed this tour but felt the lunch was skimpy for the price. Gourmet it wasn't :) The wines were all really good and the wineries were pleasant places with interesting histories.

I took my wife, our son and his wife, our daughter and her husband & our 3 grandkids on the Haunted Trolley. We spent a week in Door County and everyone agreed that this was the highlight of the trip. We visited haunted houses, a cemetery, a haunted lighthouse and more. The stories told at each location were very good and our guide really played his part well. At the Noble House, we were told that ghostly images sometimes would appear in the mirrors and windows. We didn't see anything while we were there but my son and daughter took pictures of a couple of the mirrors. When we got back to our rental house, we decided to hook up the camera to the TV and look at the pictures for that day. In the mirror was the image of a face. It wasn't there when the picture was taken, but somehow showed up when we viewed the pictures. I don't know if I believe in ghosts yet, but I can't say that they don't exist. It scared everyone. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and kept everyone engaged in the history of the sites visited. He also recommended many other places to eat and visit outside the tour, including theater shows and special events.

Our tour guide Bob and the other gentlemen were nice and really got into what they were doing. At times it was a bit overboard but I guess one would need this to help get them to feel the ora of ghost or being haunted. We were a bit rushed at some points. It would have been nice if they showed us the boys grave that was tucked back in the wooded area at the State Park. We would have enjoyed that much more then going to the drive up grave sites. The music and songs throughout was a lot of fun. All in all we had a great time and were entertained!! Could have been a few bucks cheaper too- Thanks!

The Wine Trolly Tour was so much more than we expected! Our tour guide Todd was funny and very knowledgeable not only about wines but also about the area. He paid attention to every detail right down to showing us the eagle nest near one of the wineries which by the way had the eagle sitting in it when we passed by. He encouraged our group to get to know each other with his comments and by the end of the tour we felt like family. This tour is a great way to visit the four wineries and not have to worry about driving, finding a place to park, or carrying your purchases out to your vehicle. Plus they have take care of the reservations for you for a very nice lunch. All in all this is one of the best tours I've ever taken and felt I really got a deal for what I paid for my ticket! Will definitely go again and recommend it to others who enjoy wine and sightseeing.

My husband and I went to Door County for our 2nd wedding anniversary. We took this tour and it was a lot of fun!! The stories were great and the tour guide was awesome!! He was very enthusiastic and told stories with great detail. I would definitely recommend to others!!

Our family group has been coming to Door County for, oh maybe 40 years?? We thought we'd try to see the Door as new tourists. This tour was a hoot!

Great way to get exposed to several different wineries and have an enjoyable time, especially with our guide Darrell who did a great job. I am NOT a wine drinker and therefore was not so sure how I would like this but ended up thoroughly enjoying myself. Highly recommended for wine drinkers or not just to have an enjoyable day.

My wife and I were returning Door County Trolley riders. We first took a Door Country Trolley Tour when we had been dating for about 6 months (Winter Wonderland Tour). The temperatures were well below 0 on that day, but our driver (AJ) was as warm, and friendly as could be. He was helpful in finding our way to some of the more local places for dining and entertainment, and he made the tour a blast. It was because of AJ that we returned for our second tour with DCT, this time the Winery Tour. This time the trip was for our one year wedding anniversary. If possible, this tour far exceeded the Winter Tour. Our driver, Darrell, was funny, witty, and jam packed full of information about local entertainment, scenery, and dining. The wineries we stopped at had fantastic wines and atmospheres. Over lunch, we met a couple from out of town that was celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. This trip made our weekend fun and unforgettable, and we are sure to return to Door County Trolley to go on the pub crawl and ghost tours. We can't wait!

We took our daughters, ages 11 & 9, and we all loved the trip. Bob the conductor is an amazing storyteller. You get to make a stop at a haunted house and tour it inside, which was a big hit with us. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to others who like ghosts and local history.

We received a personalized tour as my family was the only one on the trolley. The guide was a very interesting person, knew a lot about the history of door county, the lakes and Islands and stopped at several places so that we can take pictures and sink in the beauty. I definitely recommend it for anyone with a desire to know the history of door county.

I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have never been to Door County. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out many attractions (not just lighthouses) that we never would have known about otherwise.
