My friends and I had a glorious time on the Downeast Duck Tour. I was especially interestedin the city tour because I spent the first 18 years of my life in Portland. My friends had never visited Maine so it was a treat for them too. The dunk in the bay was thrilling. The opportunity to see the area's skyline. Our tour guide was informed and a lot of fun. The driver was skilled and we knew we were in safe hands. |

We had a wonderful time on the Downeast Duck Tour through historic Portland and Casco Bay. The bus/boat was very comfortable with good visibility and the tour guides and driver were friendly, funny and knowlegable. I'd recommend the tour to both visitors "from away", locals, and anyone who wants to learn some interesting history about Maine's largest city! |

My 16 years old son and I took this tour. We like to take Duck Boat tours when we visit an area with a tour. It was a fun time, the seats were comfortable and provided the local history, good places to eat and other interesting info. We took the tour on our last day visiting Portland but I would recommend to take it when you first arrive. Because then you can check out all the places mentioned during the tour. |

We loved the Duck tour! Derek our tour guide and Capt. Joe were just so much fun. They had a great sense of humor, clearly know their history of Portland and were quite enthusiastic. Not only did we get to see Portland, they also made great recommendations for other things to see and do. |

Sorry to say, but there was no surcease of sound on this trip. Beside the lond engine of the duck on the water, the guide never stopped talking. If she hadn't something to say about the sights, she was making jokes or commenting to nearby passengers in the front.
She certainly didn't have enough history facts on various buildings on the land tour. |
