Very well done, light hearted but full of interesting history, too. Great combination of landmarks and time on the water. |

I've been on this Duck Boat tour before, with kids, and have been on other Duck Boat tours in other cities. A great way to see a coastal city....Portland is such a fabulous city and this is a great way to see it.
One helpful hint: There were too many silent pauses between historical comments, funny stuff, etc. Jazz it up a bit!!! |

My mother, who is 86, and I truly enjoyed our trip on the Duck! The young man who did the travelog was very accurate, very personable, and entertained the variety of ages on board. He kept the trip lively and fun and yet was informative. The Captain was very skilled and we felt very safe. We had never been on a Duck before and the trip into the water was a unique sensation. All around it was an enjoyable and memorable trip that we have been recommending to everyone we have spoken to. Please thank the staff for a job well done! |

I took the tour about an hour after getting to Portland, so I would have a better idea of getting around the area and what I wanted to see.
The vehicle was comfortable with a covered top and open sides. I chose this tour over the others because it spent some time on the water (we saw two seals) and the land. The driver was excellent and the young tour guide had grown up locally and was very knowledgeable of the city and its history, he was also funny and friendly. We drove by everything I was interested in seeing.
The trip was well worth my time and money. My only problem with the tour was knowing where to get on. I had an address of Long Wharf but there were no signs that marked the spot. I didn't know if it would be in the water or on the street (it was on the street). Put up a sign and I would give the tour a 100%. |

My family loved it. The tour guide was very informative and a lot of fun. We took his recommendations on where to eat the next day and were very pleased. Would definitely do it again. |

I pre paid 24.00 per person. Now, some paid on the duck boat. The credit card machine was down which caused up to leave ten minutes late. Now, the people who had to pay cash instead of credit card were told they would get 7 bucks off per person...or charged the senior citizen rate. I was not offered a discount and feel I should have been. |

We enjoyed the tour guide, my grandson who is 3 now calls the harbor, the hahbah. He thought that was the funniest thing he ever said and hasn't stopped saying it since. My grand-daughter is 9 and she said nonnie, I already know most of this stuff, we studied it in school. They really enjoyed and so did I. |

Highly recommend this tour. I am local and actually learned some great facts about the city. The tour is paced very well being 1/2 on land and 1/2 in the water. A great up close view of Portland's working waterfront, from the many different fishing vessels, recreational boats and buildings. A must activity for even the locals! |
