Great overview of the city

A former resident of Maine, this tour appeared to be something we have always wanted to do, however, we were very disappointed as very little about Portland was shown. Maybe it was the day we choose but to ride up Congress St and then down State St to So. Portland, go in the water for all of 10 minutes and back to Commercial St just do not justify the fee changed.

The tour and the tour guide made Portland come alive.

We had the opportunity to go on the Downeast Duck tour on a beautiful summer afternoon in Portland. It was interesting to learn about the history of Portland but would have liked a bit more meat to that part. It was great about the different restaurants and recommendations but that felt a bit too much. Our guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable.

A great chance to relax and get a good feel for what Portland has to offer.......no walking required. The guide is a local and gives the tour a laid back feel with some good info.

Very knowledgable tour guide with a great sense of fun. Also a driver who knew what he was doing even while going through the narrow streets of the town.

It was a informative and fun tour of Portland. We had never been to Portland before and like learning the history. Going in the the water of course was the highlight and enjoyed it a lot.

Good tour, good weather, great narration

My husband and I truly enjoyed the experience. A word of warning, it can get quite chilly over the water so dress appropriately.

Very pleasant trip. The guide was very Knowledgeable and funny. Good ride Portland on a very sunny fall day. Would recommend it to other people on vacation to Portland.

Knowledgable guide and informative presentation aboard THE DUCK. Much fun and good information well presented. Recommend to all, especially families.

Narration was good with humor which made is better. Sites were spectacular.

We really enjoyed the tour, Recomend if cool or windy you need a very warm coat in the fall.

Guide was fantastic

Rode the duck with 3 additional family members. All of us enjoyed it greatly. We saw something of Portland including the Civil War Monument, Firefighters Monument, Parks, Longfellow house and other points of interest in Portland itself. Then we went into the harbor with a big splash and rode around a bit. Saw the ferries running in and out to the islands, and the lighthouses in the distance. There was a nice view back at the parks and the city itself. It was a very full 1 hour tour mixing humor with points of interest.
