Eating Rehoboth -- I Highly Recommend

What a fun experience. My husband, our visiting friend and I participated in the Eating Rehoboth tour with Paul Cullen on Friday, 8/22. We had a blast. Visited FIVE incredibly good restaurants and one specialty shop ( which we could have spent all afternoon in). This is a very worthwhile activity lead by a very interesting, fun tour guide--Paul. As a matter of fact, we have already gone back to Semra's for lunch and intend to visit all the other restaurants as well.

If you like food and drink, then you will enjoy the Eating Rehoboth food tour. 5 Food stops and a specialty store visit. 5 bites and 5 sips...each one terrific! We had a great experience at every spot on the tour. It was fun to meet the various chefs, owners and managers of the restaurants. We look forward to going back to each of the places we visited on the tour for a full meal: Semas, The Back Porch Cafe, Mixx, Stingray, Brambles & Brine and The Spice & Tea Exchange.

Food and restaurant owners were excellent and in the near future we will be returning to each establishment for dinner. Our tour guide was the best and was essential to the success of the tour.

What a great afternoon this was. Have been going to Rehoboth since I was a child and visit frequently because my two daughters live there. Paul was a great host, and we got to try a few places we'd never visited as well as some we had. Great value for the money and fun time. Plan to try another Rehoboth tour since it'll be different places as well as the Lewes offering.

Even though I am local, all restaurants were ones I meant to try, but never got there. Food was great, loved meeting the owners/chefs, and I'll definitely go back to them again.

Beautiful day for a walk with Bad Company rocker-turned-foodie Paul Cullen. Each of the 6 stops offered a delicious amuse-bouche and lovely cocktail as we learned about the restaurant's history and the chef's point of view. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon!

My husband and I recently moved into the area and thought that this would be a wonderful way to learn about the restaurants in Rehoboth. We were not disappointed. Our guide did a great job of telling us about the local history and restaurant scene. The five restaurants we visited provided delicious drinks and food samples. It was a fun way to meet new people and learn about the Rehoboth restaurant scene. We will be returning to several of the stops. We highly recommend this activity and has already recommended to many of our neighbors.

The restaurants were all very good and the people who spoke were knowledgeable and friendly. There was quite a variety from a casual rum bar, to a fancy restaurant, to a Turkish delight, along with a Tea and Spice speciality store. Good job, we enjoyed it very much. Great idea for foodies who want to become familiar with the area!

Our guide was very welcoming. I.enjoyed meeting the managers or owners of each restaurant and learning something interesting about each one. We made a stop at a local store that was so wonderful. Don't want to spoil the surprise. Money well worth spent. Would definitely go again with hubby and/or more friends.

Delightful Afternoon in Rehoboth
Sun, Jul 27  1:00 PM ReginaBrad Female 60-69 Local Group of Friends
Four friends looking for a foodie adventure heard about the Walking/Eating Rehoboth tour. All four of us had moved to the Rehoboth area less than a year ago. Since we weren't familiar with all of the dining spots we felt this would be a great way to discover restaurants we would like to try later. All four of the establishments on our tour are worth a return visit. The cheese making demonstration, the homemade ice cream demonstration at a(muse) were very informative and entertaining, not to mention, delicious. Our stop at the Olive Orchard tasting room was icing on the cake. I highly recommend visitors and locals take the tour and get to know some of the history, the chefs, and managers at these lovely establishments.

The friends I brought on this tour tried to vote on their favorite restaurant and finally gave up and voted a tie for all 5 places. They want to come back and do the Friday tour!
