About The Seller:
Ellis Island served as the gateway to millions of immigrants headed to their new lives in America. Closed in 1954, it fell into disrepair over the years until restoration began in 1984. Now it houses the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument.
I gave my first tour of Ellis Island in 1978 as a National Park Service Ranger at pre-restoration Ellis. Since then I have given countless tours to individuals, groups and corporations. It is something I enjoy doing immensely and I feel fortunate to share my experience with visitors to this remarkable place. It is my goal to provide an Ellis Island experience that visitors will remember for years to come.
