The Best Time Ever!!!

We arrived in theCastro early to look around and was absolutely amazed at the friendliness and the fun we encountered before our tour even began. Even though we were a group of straight ladies, we found this tour to be the most fun of everything we did while in SF. We met some of the most fascinating people, Our guide, Kim, was fantastic, kind and informative. We were so impressed with him we went to a musical he was in that evening (after we dined in the Castro, of course) He helped us develop a whole new outlook and respect for the gay lifestyle. We would recommend this tour to EVERYONE!!

The tour guide was lovely and had a lot of knowledge and information to share! The subject matter was a little much for my 15 year old daughter and some of the other tour members were a little too affectionate in their public behavior. Nonetheless, we appreciated the experience and enjoyed the tour

We are a straight, middle-class senior couple from Long Island. We love Kim. He is so personable and knowledgeable. He shows great compassion. We were the only people on the tour and got the royal treatment. We got a bonus at the end from two community members who happened to be walking by. They told us of their memories of Harvey Milk. We have a great interest in the GLBT community and loved learning the history of the Castro. The pink triangle is so meaningful. Seeing where Milk worked and lived and hearing his story again was so special. Thank you Kim.

Visited SF many times and don't know how we missed this tour. Kim made the whole experience so much fun, even getting my husband to wear the rainbow boa proudly. We learned lots of things we didn't know. Anyone who wants to see the Castro would feel comfortable on this tour.

Something "different" to do
Wed, Apr 6, 11   2:00 PM Starrml Female 50-59 Local Family With Children
Liked Kim and the walk was easy. We brought two teenage girls who were very uncomfortable for the entire tour, and we thought they were "wise" teens. We should have asked for the PG-13 rated tour if at all possible, because they were shocked and disgusted in ways all teenage girls would be. I would recommend this for a fun group of open-minded women, but couldn't imagine even our liberal husbands being able to get through it. Pretty raunchy stuff for us suburbanites!

Our guide, Ken, was charming, informative and entertaining. We learned a lot of things about the Castro and about GLBT history that we will always remember, and with which we will certainly dazzle our friends! Ken clearly put a lot of effort into making his tour meaningful, and his delivery did not disappoint!
