I would pay more money for more value

I am fan of walking tours. Attended lots of good ones in the US and Europe. This wasn't one of them. Stories are too general, superficious. Talking about the gold rush in general...? Details that one remembers were missing. Has a short "expiry date".

Fun and informative

Guide Tom was a hoot, but also very knowledgeable about SF hisory, architecture, etc. His humor was dry, which we really enjoy! Saw parts of the city, especially Chinatown, into which we would not otherwise have ventured.

Great opportunity to learn more about the city!

It was a good mix of learning new things, but there was a lot I had discovered already on my own - definitely better to do if you are not familiar with the city.

Definitely not worth the money

My top peeves regarding the tour 1. No idea why it is 45 bucks a pop, when there does not seem to be any costs to the business apart from paying the guide. 2. Nothing funny at all. The guide is knowledgeable but definitely not funny. Better off paying to get in a stand up club to see a real comic act 3. Im sure the walking tour company gets a cut from the local businesses we were taken to. Customers are expected to foot their bills and the guide leaves no opportunity to convey the point that he/she needs to be tipped at the end of the tour.

The comedy led tour was very informative and enjoyable. Made even more so by our fantastic guide AJ. The stop in chinatown for dim sum was fun and well timed. The guide was very knowledgeable and spent focused time with each party in our group.

Light humor and nice historical background of different areas of SF. Worth doing.

Let Down

The tour was mediocre. Much too much esoteric historical perspective-no different info than in a tour book-and the humor was below expectation

A great way to find out more about local history!

This was a great way to explore San Francisco and learn about its interesting history. The guide was knowledgeable, fun, enthusiastic, and took the time to accommodate everyone. The walking was great exercise and well thought out to minimize the effect of the hills! Enough time was given at each point and even in between to look at and view the subjects being discussed. The guide set a safe, respectful pace, that was easy to maintain. The potty breaks were perfectly timed and well spaced. Thank you.

Educational and Fun Tour for Our Family
Mon, Jun 20, 11   10:00 AM amulina Male 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
We booked a "private" tour for our family - parents, adult children, teen granddaughter - with AJ. It was a great tour and AJ made the whole thing fun. The tour is long but AJ adjusted her pace and stops to fit all our different levels of physical activity. It was full of unique perspectives and information we had not heard before. I would recommend it highly. Andrew Mulina
