Activity Description
Sportfishing in Ft. Lauderdale is our best trip for catching big game fish. The Fort Lauderdale reefs and shipwrecks are teeming with some of the most sought after gamefish in the world. On our these trips, our crews will take you fishing for sailfish, sharks, swordfish, tuna, dolphin and more.
With just a 15-minute ride out to fishing grounds, we do most of our fishing only 1 mile off the beach. Our shared sportfishing charters take no more than 6 passengers, so you'll get a lot of one-on-one interaction with the captain and mate.
On this 4-hour trip you'll head out on a 45' Ray Davis sportfish charter boat. Our boats are fully equipped with:
- Air conditioned cabin for those warm Florida days
- Huge cockpit so you have lots of room to fish
- Multiple fighting chairs
- Color Fish Finder and Bottom Sonar
- Clean Restroom
- Flybridge seating - ride upstairs with the captain
- Live bait wells to keep live baits frisky
We start off the trip with a quick ride out through the intercoastal waterway, where you'll see some of Fort Lauderdale's multi-million dollar homes. After that it's 5-10 minutes of catching live baits. This gets everyone familiar with using the equipment. Then it's big game fishing time!
On these trips, we usually have time to try several types of fishing. The captain will go trolling, live baiting and bottom fishing - whatever it takes to catch you fish. This is the captain's favorite trip and the best for catching lots of big fish.
All bait and tackle is included in the price!
What Is Not Included?
Everything on these trips is included, except for food, drink, and gratuity for your crew. Feel free to bring your own food and alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages, or pick some up at the convenience store located right next door to the meeting spot. Keep in mind that glass bottles/containers are not allowed on board!
