Great Tour - Wish we could have done them all!

The Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour was exactly what my husband & I wanted from our visit to NYC. We love to eat and explore neighborhoods and this tour did not disappoint! Bob, our guide, was energetic and fun and full of truly interesting information. We learned a lot about the history of the area as well as where our favorite chefs had their own hot spots. The tastings were perfect, sweet, salty and savory were all covered...we were full following the tour for sure! We aren't really theater people, we'd rather eat our way thru the city...Next time we come we will definitely try other neighborhood tasting tours with Foods of New York!

We were quite impressed with the tour guides knowledge and explanation of the history of the market. The tastings were varied, delicious and certainly filling; no other meal required after this tour! I had not been to this area of NYC before and now feel that I would visit it again with confidence. I've already started recommending this tour to my friends and family...it is certainly worth the time and money! Thanks for a great and memorable day!

Darrel was great. Only criticism is that we all missed being outside more. The other tours w u guys were more exciting and less monotonous bc scenery changed

Had no idea about the wonderful history of Chelsea market. Cindy, our guide, was knowledgeable and engaging and told a very good story. It was as much an architectural tour as a food tour.

History, architecture, culture, people, food!

Such an excellent way to get to know a part of the city. Loved the stories about the history, the people/culture, buildings and architecture, and of course the amazing food. Great portions and loved the interesting food options. We felt a little rushed sometimes and would have liked to have had a few more minutes to finish our sample or look around the shop we had been introduced to. Otherwise, most enjoyable thing we did in NYC!
