| Kurt, our guide was fantastic. His knowledge of the tour stops was quite impressive, even to food and wine snobs like ourselves. The 3-hour excursion could have become tiresome and dull, given the amount of info and ground to cover, but Kurt's enthusiasm for NY's food scene and his comedic banter were irresistible. He kept us excited and entertained the whole time. Highly recommend! So glad we did this tour. |

| The food is ample and wonderful! Our guide was so knowledgeable about food, I felt completely at ease in his care. A wonderful memory that I would repeat in a second, and intend to. |

| The chelsea market is nice and interesting, but the guide did not give us a lot of information. The food was good, but I could have bought it on my own. I fond the tour bowring, I did not learn much. The main part was on the market itselve, I would have prefered a longer walk througt the meetpacking district and more history. The guide talked more about himself, that he loves his job, what he has eaten, which cook he met, who cares??? |

| The experience my friends and I had during the Chelsea/Meatpacking food tour went above and beyond our expectations. Not only were we captivated by the delicious food we sampled but were surprised by the journey through the history of the Chelsea Marketplace and the Meatpacking District. I would highly recommend this tour for couples, friends, and families interested in learning about the rich history of this NYC neighborhood. |

| We were in NYC for the weekend with a group of 6 friends. The tour was absolutely wonderful. Plenty of awesome food with interesting historical facts from our fabulous guide Bob. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the meat packing district, enjoys a little history and of course loves food. |

| This is our 2nd food tour--we did the Greenwich Village last year--and we thoroughly enjoyed both. I worried that going on 2 would be too much of the same thing, but they were quite different. Our adult daughter who lives in the area was with us and enjoyed them also. Curt was our guide this year and he was superb (and a hoot!). |

| This tour was one of the best tourist experiences I've ever had (and I've had a lot!) What made it so successful was a well-planned scope and a guide who was spot-on. Add the AMAZING and copious food and I'm still shocked the ticket was under $50! What a value!
The tour was just the right length of time, walking distance and depth of information to be enjoyable without feeling overloaded. The guide made a special point to engage the attendees and balanced his obvious passion for food with his well-rounded experience in various aspects of the restaurant business. He never sounded rehearsed, making our group feel as though we were getting a tour customized especially for us. The tour left plenty of time to return to any of the stops along the way to make purchases or see more.
And the food. Nothing I could write would do justice to the array of samplings we were treated to. All I can say is - come hungry!! You won't be dissappointed! |
