| We thoroughly enjoyed the tour - we are recommending it to all of our friends who go to New York. It is unique and memorable and I think it was very well done. The guide we had was superb - he should get a raise and a promotion - funny, clever, knowledgeable, and personable.
You should get this tour publicised as much as possible as everyone will enjoy it. I wish we had something similar in Australia.
Anyone who is going to New York should take this tour. Fantastic.

| How lucky to take the Chelsea Market tour on a day when the weather was miserably cold and windy. Since the greater part of the tour was indoors, we could enjoy the experience without being uncomfortable. Curt was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, and amusing. |

| Having visited New York before, this time we were looking for something a little different and slightly off the beaten track. Well, we certainly found it with this tour. Chelsea Market was a revelation - so many interesting places to eat under one roof, and the Meatpacking District showed us an area we would never have stumbled upon on our own.
Our guide was excellent - enthusiastic, entertaining and informative and with access to hotels, B&B's and restaurants we would not have otherwise seen. These seemed so good that we returned to the area the following evening to eat in a steak house and have cocktails on a hotel rooftop bar!
The tour really was excellent and we can not recommend it highly enough |

| Last time in NYC, we did the Greenwich Tour and absolutely loved it. So, this time we opted for the Chelsea Tour, and it did not disappoint. The food samples could easily have been smaller; we both got very full!
Our guide, Curt, was fabulous and made it fun, interesting, and informative. He was very knowledgable and offered juicy tidbits of NYC living.
This is not just a food tour. I mean, you get to sample fun foods and learn about restaurants and food vendors, but it's also great to learn about the NYC neighborhoods and their history, something you really can't get from history books.
I would highly recommend anyone to join in one of these tours as early on in their NYC visit as possible. This way you learn about places to go to dinner for the rest of your stay!
Only regret is that the Soho tour wasn't running this time around, but we'll do it next time! |

| My husband and I just got back from NY and did the Chelsea Market Food Tour. It was excellent and more than we expected. The guide - Darrell - was wonderful and the amount of food was more than we could eat. We are anxiously awaiting our next trip so we can do the Greenwich Village tour. This is a definate TO DO tour. Also, this tour is mostly inside so don't let questionable weather effect your decision to do this activity. |

| Great, Great, Great....I can repeat this word through out this page and it still will not be enough to describe our day. I will recommend this to everyone. I will return for more.
Kurt, our guide, is the a master at what he does and I wish him the best...his name in lights! Food tasting is enhanced by all of Kurt's knowledge and comments and humor.
This is an education besides a sampling ... a tease to come back for more. I will definitely book another tour and now have a great idea for a gift for family and friends. |

| Informative, fun, interesting and tasty.
Kurt is a GREAT tour guide who is knowledgeable, engaging and quite funny. I found this tour online while looking for something unique to do with the family in this particular neighborhood. We all had a great time and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Plan on taking some friends with me on another tour of Village/SoHo come springtime.

Couple on a Date |
| We were fortunate to have only one other couple besides ourselves on this tour, which was perfect! After seeing a tour of 15 people herding thru, I have no idea how they didn't constantly feel "in the way" of the rest of the public, since the spaces/stores we dropped in on are all so compact. Not to mention, some of the tastings we did were in the very back of the store, sometimes, not enough chairs for the four of us!
The tour thru the market was informative, the tastings were fun, some better than others. The market tour part took about an hour. The remainder 2 hours were walking outside the streets of the meat packing district. Luckily it was nice out. I would imagine on rainy days, this 2/3 of the tour would be miserable. I feel this part of the tour could have been cut down to 30 minutes. We spent the last hour going into random restauraunts and shops just looking around...which I could do on my own. Luckily, we were in a small group and we were enjoying our guide, so we had a good time.
A recommendartion I would have is to cut the tour to 2 hours and cut the price by$15. |

| Our guide Kurt? was fabulous - my husband and I are considering the Greenvich Village tour in the Spring. Also, when the high line is complete, be sure to design a tour of that too.
Thank you very much! |
