Enjoyed Kurt's tour

I enjoyed everything. One suggestion is to have the BIG delicious cookie closer to the end of the eating. I suggested to Kurt that we should receive a small plastic bag to put the cookie in if we wish to eat it later.

We, mother, grown daughter and mother's friend, all loved the Meat Packing District food tour. Our guide, Curt with a "C", was the best guide I have ever had in all the many years of traveling. He was smart, informative, and extremely funny. The food was very good, the information was fascinating, and the walking easy. My only recommendation would be that participants don't eat the whole cookie at the start of the tour, just.eat a bite and save the rest for later, otherwise, you will be too full to enjoy the rest of the food. I enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone (but not small children) who is ready for a great time....I only hope they get Curt (with a "C") for their guide. Thanks.

Darrell gave us a wonderful tour. We would have never been exposed to the Chelsea Market area if we hadn't taken this tour. Good food, informative and entertaining.

Our guide, Kurt, was full of fun, enthusiasm and great information. You could tell that he really enjoyed what he was doing. We tasted a wide variety of good foods, learned a lot about the Chelsea Market & Meatpacking District. and visited some beautiful restaurants. The tour was absolutely FANTASTIC and Kurt was THE BEST! We went on your Greenwich Village tour last year and thought it was terrific. But this one was even better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

We were initially disappointed that the Greenwich tour was booked. Now, however, we are so glad we took this tour. Chelsea Market is so fascinating. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and friendly. He (unfortunately I can not remember his name) welcomed all questions. The food was very plentiful, diverse and delicious. The history and current activities of this neighborhood are an important facet of NYC. We will definitely book the two other tours if we return to NY. Thank you for providing such a great opportunity!

This is a must tour everyone should do. Our guide was so informative. There is such a variety of shops that made it so interesting. You leave knowing you will tell your friends to make sure they get to do this. The three hours just flew by, and our tummys were full. Enjoy.

Great Way to Spend an Afternoon

I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of the Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District. Although I have traveled from California to Manhattan several times, I had never set foot in this district. I had no idea there was so much to see! Our tour guide, Todd, couldn't have been more considerate and knowledgeable. We learned about the history of the area and its plans for the future. We tasted incredible food as many of the vendors in the market are renowned. Our food adventures ranged from cookies to lobster bisque and everything in between. The samples were generous and very tasty. After leaving the market, we stepped inside Morimoto and later the Buddha Bar, both restaurants having the most incredible decor. We also passed by high end designer boutiques such as Stella McCartney. Loved, loved, loved this tour. I definitely plan to sign up for another food tour when I come back in June.

I was with a friend and this was the only activity she really enjoyed of the 4 days we spent in New York. Our guide was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient and understanding. What more could you ask? All of the food sampled was excellent, and it was interesting to learn the history of the area and to find out what will be happening in the neighborhood.

the food was wonderful..but..we would not have needed a morsel to make this tour a huge success..the guide was knowlegedable and entertaining..and in tune to all his guest's needs..We took the Greenwich Village tour the last time we visited NYC and my friend was hesitant to take another tasting tour..but I reminded her how much we enjoyed that and we went ahead and did the Chelsea..oh my..what a fun day that was..thankyou so much..I hope you add more tours we would be more than happy to take each and every tour you host. We took a few more tours while we were there last week, and they were so lame it was a total waste of not only money, but our precious time. I am lousy with names, but my buddy said our tour's name was Daryll ..I thought it was Eric..but, no doubt you know who it was and it appeared that the group that preceded us was enjoying their tour as much..EXCELLENT..how I wish you had tours of the Museums...the Met..Central Park..chinatown,soho whatever..we would be thrilled to take any tours you offered..looking forward to our next trip to NY once my feet recover. thanks again..Pam Berumen...
