Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

My husband and I totally enjoyed our tour. Diana was a wealth of information. The vendors were very accomodating, and we will return to the market again. We had a fun group, and the tour was very informative.

My husband and I joined 14 other people on the Chelsea Mkt/Meatpacking Food Tour and enjoyed every bite. Even though it was raining as we left Chelsea Marketplace, it did not dampen the mood. Bob was our tour guide and was absolutely excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed this and will be signing up for another of the tours offered on our next trip to NYC.

Darryl had lots of funny anecdotes about the area to keep us entertained and the food was delicious, especially the lobster bisque. Don't eat before you go on this tour!

While our tastings were great it was our guide Kurt Upton that made the tour one of the best experiences of our trip to New York. High energy, hilarious one liners and an engaging host made the food that much more enjoyable. I would suggest the tour include some more variety as it was a bit heavy on the carbs.

Cindy's vivacious personality and passion for food and local history made this tour a highlight of our weekend in New York. We sampled a wonderful variety of delicious foods. We were so full that we passed on dinner! We recommend this tour with enthusiasm!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour. We learned a lot about Chelea Market and the meat packing district history and current business. We got to sample many delicious foods and were more filled up than expected, not needing lunch or snacks before dinner. We had a delightful and very entertaining tour guide named Kurt, whom we highly recommend as well.

The Chelsea Market is a fascinating place and it was really special to have the opportunity to learn about the various shops, merchandise and owners. We especially liked getting to taste in every shop! Our guide, Darrell, was very personable, knowledgeable and funny. Will definitely recommend this tour!

Bob did a great job filling the time with a lot of information. He was fun and informative. The information was spread equally between food, history and a who's who's of the area we toured. Our family would do a food tour with him again. This was my first food tour and did not know what to expect. Great job Bob. The Youngs.
