I have lived in New Jersey all of my life, but I happen to see the article in the Star Ledger in June and thought it looked interesting. I calle for my reservation and then also asked a friend if she would be interested. We had a great time. Curt made the tour. He is so cheery, knowledgeable and considerate. I'd recommend this tour to everyone - local and tourtist. It was just great

We thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday afternoon with our guide. He was very informative, lots of fun to be with, and made our entire group feel lucky to have him as our guide. The tastings were great. We had beautiful weather and the tour outside of the Chelsea Market was interesting, and delightful.

A few years ago, my sister and I took the Greenich Village Food Tour and were totally wowed by it. Since then, we have both sent friends to take the tour. This one just wan't as good. Our guide had a pleasant personality, but his lines seemed "canned" and his focus seemed to be on passing out the food, not filling in quite so many details. He filled his time telling us to walk around the different stores while he set up the next hand out. He told us several times to come back in five years when the area would be really changed. We liked the chance to go on the roof top hotel observation deck, but would have enjoyed a few more details about the new or established restaurants in the area and, maybe, a peak into a couple of them. When I got home and read your flyer, I realized there were some mighty fascinating restaurants that he told us nothing about. The guide, additonally, made no mention of the art gallerys which we had been told were in the Chelsea area. After the tour, we wondered where they are. The food tastings were good and generous. We especially likee the gelati. An opportunity to view the studios of the food net work would have been a great addtion to the tour!

The tour guide was both informative and entertaining. He provided great reviews of the shops and resteaurants. The tastings were outstanding and made you wanting to go back for more(which we did). This is a must tour for anyone who has not visited the Chelsa Market and the Meat-Packing district.

While born and raised in New York, although I don't live there any longer, I had never visited this area before or really knew about it, other than that it existed. It was a really worthwhile tour with excellant food, a fantastic, very knowledgable tour guide, nice people from New Orleans, Europe and Australia, and educational. I went because of a recommendation from a friend, and will definitely recommend this to others.

I thought we spent too much time at Chelsea Market, but that may be because there are not a lot of restaurants in the area. Curt was wonderful. He's entertaining, friendly, funny and knowledgeable.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour led by Cindi. The group size was just right, and the tastings were quite extensive and varied. We were surprised to have so many "locals" in the group, as well as tourists. We are looking forward to taking other offered tours in the future. Thanks for the memories!

Surprise Tour of NYC

I had read some online reviews of this tour and suggested to my friend that we take the tour. My friend is a vegetarian and when it said "Meatpacking District" she was turned off. We loved this tour and would highly recommend it to others who have an interest in food and unusual finds in markets. This area is new and not totally discovered so was not packed with tourists. We loved all the shops we were taken into for tastings and the tour guide was very down to earth and a true delight. You could tell she loved the area and knew the history behind this district. Since we were from Nevada she gave us a true picture of New York and this area. Would love to go on the tour again because I am sure we missed some things.
