This was our third food tour with Foods of NY and definitely the best. Our guide, Kurt, was exceptional. His knowledge & personality made for a fun-filled day even with the weather from the hurricane blowing through. Thanks for providing such an economical and information packed event! The food was wonderful too!!

My daughter and I went on this tour. We both enjoyed it very much. The guide, Kurt, was very knowledgeable and so funny! We enjoyed the taste testing very much. We had bakery items, soup, breads, dairy, Italian specialty, gelato, and lots more! All good stuff! The Salt tasting experience I personally could have skipped! I would recomend this tour to anyone who enjoys food and enjoys seeing rather strange places to buy it! The history of the are was facinating! I even got to see where a part of the Food Network is!

Cindy was very well informed of the history of the building and passed this info on to the group. I wish we could hav taken the tour when the meat packing plants were working. Other than that I enjoyed the food tasting at the various places we stopped at. I was surprised to find out how many different establishments were in the market place. My wife and I had a very good time. Thank You.

Our guide, Curt, was adorable. He made all the information that he was dispensing interesting and intriguing. I'm sure he's said everything hundred of times, but he always made it sound fresh. It was clear that the various shops knew him and liked him. We ate WAY too much, but felt like we got a great overview of the area and off tits history. I would recommend this tour to anyone, "foodie" or not.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Chelsea Market and surrounding area tour. We are fairly frequent visitors to New York and are always looking for something different to do, since we've obviously covered the usual tourist destinations. Although we've been to Chelsea before, we probably wouldn't have discovered the Martket on our own or it wouldn't have been as interesting (or tasty) without doing the Tour. We learned many intersting things and had wonderful, and varied, things to eat. Our tour guide, Daryl, was fabulous. Very professional with his facts and figures, but also fun and entertaining. All in all, a winner!

I very much enjoyed the food tour. The guide was very fun. The food was wonderful but certainly stop for breakfast before if an early tour. I really enjoyed visiting a brownstone home. I always wondered what they were like inside.

I participated in this tour with three friends and we were all delighted with the afternoon. Curt, our tour guide was exceptional and we would love to take another tour with him, perhaps the Greenwich Village tour. The tastings were more than plentiful and very tasty. The background information and history was very interesting and the overall day was one we would all recommend to anyone.
