| I had friends in town, it's a great way to get to know the area a little better (especially if it's not your neighborhood) and you get little tidbits of info you might never have known otherwise. Don't eat a big breakfast....lot's of good food to keep the tour moving! |

| For starters I booked the tour for Friday but thought I had booked this for Thursday so props to Todd who was able to squeeze me in on a tour that already started. Kurt was our tour guide and he was great! The tour was more than I had expected.. I really thought it was mainly going to be food related but he took us around the area and also gave us a lot of history of the meatpacking district as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Thanks again to Todd and Kurt for squeezing me in on the tour :) |

| We are a group of women seeing New York. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of meeting and visiting with someone who lives in New York. The tour of Chelsea Market was great. We were a little disappointed that the tour did not include more neighborhood stops, but all in all it was a very enjoyable experience. |

| Our guide, Diana, was awesome! She is full of historic facts and makes it fun to hear about the origins of the Chelsea Market building. She always had us laughing! It seems she enjoys the tour as much as we all did!
Lots of great food, great vendors, and fun! Would definitely recommend it! |

| I really feel it was quite expensive for as much food as you got on the tour. The tour itself was very interesting... our guide was terrific and made it a lot of fun. I just thought for a food tour you would get more food, though. All we had was a croissant, milk, some salt (this was the worst part, who wants to taste different types of salt?!), a biscuit with spreadable fruit, soup, bread with salami and cheese, and lemonade. All spread over three hours. We were starving when we left!! My friend went on another one in the Village, and that one was much better (food-wise) than the Chelsea St. Market tour.
But again, the tour itself was good and the tour guide was great!!! Next time, MORE FOOD!!!

| My husband and I just got back from NY and did the Chelsea Market Food Tour. It was excellent and more than we expected. The guide - Darrell - was wonderful and the amount of food was more than we could eat. We are anxiously awaiting our next trip so we can do the Greenwich Village tour. This is a definate TO DO tour. Also, this tour is mostly inside so don't let questionable weather effect your decision to do this activity. |

| Our guide, Kurt, was amazing. His was entertaining and exceedingly knowledgable. Our particular group had a wide range of folks and he was able to make it interesting and fun for everyone - including my 10 year old son! I would recommend this tour highly. My cousin was with us and she lives in New York and learned as much about her city as we did. She is planning on signing up for other food tours based on this one. Thank you for such a great event.

| I would recommend this to anyone who has visited the major attractions in NY and wants to do something a bit different. The food in Chelsea Market was fantastic and the history tour of the neighborhood was very interesting. |

| There were 6 people in our immediate group, EVERYONE in the group had a great time. Kurt was our tour guide.....not only was he knowledgable of the shops, restaurants & the area but he was enthusiatically funny. A great sense of humor! Chelsea Market was a great place, fresh vegetables, meat, seafood, bakery items, wine, flowers - what else is better in life than to have all that indoors, under one roof? The lobster bisque was to-die-for in the seafood market! The local trivia was informative & the day was beautiful. Wear comfortable shoes & layered clothing, - you'll be indoors & outdoors. What a way to get acquainted with the area, enticing you to come back again to visit any of the places you visit on the tour.
Enjoy! |
