Barri was an informative and enthusiastic guide. She was very knowledgeable about the market and the meatpacking district, and the Highline was amazing. The tastings were great and they made good accomidations for my husbands food allergies, he didn't miss a thing. This was our second tour with the company and intend to do all five tastings offered. I just hope you add more tours or offer other options like food genre tastings.

This tour enhanced our enjoyment of the Chelsea Neighborhood! Besides the variety of yummy taste experiences in Chelsea Market, we saw interesting architecture and landscaping of the High Line, heard history of the Meat Packing District /Nabisco Cookie Factory and investigated remains of the old fort that used to stand where Macelleria is currently located. Our guide was energetic, friendly and informative!

The tour was so much fun. Learned so much about the history of the building and area. Loved to hear about the startup companies and how they got to the Chelsea Market. Our Tour guide was animated, knowledgeable and she made the tour interesting. The food was good. Would have liked to visit more of the stores in the market and more of the meat packing district outside. The restaurants we visited were closed and would have liked to see more of them and taste some of the food. I am looking forward to signing up for more tours in the different areas of the city!

First, our tour guide was excellent --she was very informative, humorous but could've made it more interactive amongst group members. We enjoyed the historical facts and the eateries selected. The tastings were excellent choices and good portions. Not too much idle time spent between stops which made tour time perfect. Would've enjoyed meeting some of the chefs,

The Chelsea Markets tour is fun, tasty (loved the lobster bisque!), and informative. It takes place mostly inside the markets, which is fine for a day when the weather is unpleasant. We did enjoy the Greenwich Village tour more than this one because we were out and about and covered more territory. Still, there is much to see and taste inside Chelsea Markets, and our brief excursion to the Highline and the meatpacking district was enjoyable. One member of our group is a vegetarian, and we appreciated the accommodations that were made for her.

My three friends and I took the Chelsea/Meatpacking tour and it exceeded our expectations. It was a lovely combination of history and good food. Our guide Barri was wonderful - full of interesting anecdotes, information and a detailed appreciation for the food and places that were visited. She took very good care of us and our special needs and dietary restrictions, which were varied. We thought the tour was a great value and one of the highlights of our trip to New York.

My sister-in-law,and I, along with our 20 something year old sons took this tour and we all enjoyed it. Our tour guide Darrel was excellent and we received a little history of the area, tasted some great food from the shops at Chelsea Market and walked around the area a bit. It was great to do on a warm day because most of the tour takes place inside the Market. This is my second tour, (I did Chinatown 2 years ago, also excellent) and it is a great way to get you started in becoming familiar with an area of NYC.

Our guide Barri was wonderful. She had great knowledge of the history surrounding the area, answered questions, was friendly, pleasant, informative, I can't say enough about her. This tour was a great way to hit several of the stores, taste their wares, and get a sense where you were. I have already recommended this tour to a group of friends that will be heading to New York in the fall. Book it now or you'll be sorry!!
