Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

The food tour of Chelsea markets was fun, informative and entertaining. Our guide Kurt was very funny and entertaining and kept the group laughing throughout the tour. The group started as strangers and finished the tour as friends. My daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves and saw a side of New York that we hadn't seen before. It was great to get an insider's point of view from someone who lives in New York.

When we met our guide I knew that he was going to be animated and lots of fun. He had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable about the area as well as food! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the group was friendly. I would go back and shop in that area again - it was an area of New York that we had not visited.

Our group of five were very pleased with the Chelsea Market tour.What was a rainy day turned out great as most of our time was inside .Outside we were able to duck under cover as the old buildingss have great metal overhangs that cover the sidewalks. The "old" buildings and cobblestone streets return you to a different time,you don't feel like you are still in NYC! To Our tour guide Bob does a great job! He is funny,full of information and did a great job entertaining us! We stopped at several eateries and must say none of us could say we were hungry after this three hour adventure! We are looking forward to visiting the Chelsea Market and Highline again the next time we visit!

Our tour was awesome! Our guide was extremely informative and the food amazing! Chelsea Market and the Uline have so much to see that we plan to return on our next visit.

I purchased this tour for my neice and great neice who were visiting from New Mexico...here for my great neice's 16th birthday. This is what my neice said, "The Chelsea tour was exceptional...much more than expected! I have to attibute 99% of the greatness of the experience to Diane...there is no tour guide better."

Chelsea Marketplace and the Meatpacking district were new to us and we loved learning about it's history. A bonus was walking on the High Line. Darrell made the experience much more enjoyable and memorable!

Our tour of Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District exceeded our expectations. Our leader, Bob, was most informative and very enjoyable! The tastings were wonderful-cookies, cupcakes, Lobser Bisque, chowder, fresh jam and biscuits, and pasta with an oxtail sause--all delicious. We would not have sampled like this on our own. We were even confident enough to return on our own and enjoy the Market and its shops later in our trip. Definately worth the effort and cost.

Lots of eating, weather doesn't matter as you are mostly indoors.

The guide really made the tour fun. I liked the food and the tour of the highline. I also liked getting the history.

We loved it and can't wait to try another tour next year.
