| We've been to NYC numerous times and taken the standard local tours. This puts those to shame. I Would highly recommend it, particularly for those, like us, who have a general knowledge of New York City, but who wish to "drill down" to find the real NY - and who have a love of great food! |

| The variety and quality of food was exceptional. We had an entertaining, informative guide. We will definitely return to Chelsea Market for its unique environment and products. |

| Fun, informative, delicious! Kurt was an amazing guide who not only educated us, but entertained with his quick wit and awed our group of about 15 by referring to us by name throughout the tour. His knowledge of the Chelsea Market and the surrounding area was impressive. The "sampling" we did was fantastic and filling! This was well worth the ticket price and the time spent.
If you're listening, give Kurt a big fat raise! |

| 4 of us signed up but one could not make it due to a leg injury. I could not find a sub on short notice. It would have been nice if she had been allowed to either get her $ back or reschedule or use it for another excursion since we are thinking about doing the Village. She had plenty of doctor's prescriptions and paperwork. We did return to the market to buy things and all were excellent but we were not able to shop a lot since we were not prepared to carry everything we would have liked to get back to NJ.
I have told others about the tour and they were very interested and I am giving them information. Would you be willing to send me 2 or 3 pamphlets since not all have computers?
The guide, Darren, was an asset since his personality was very charming. He took care of us with sincere concern ( he had to find a friend who got separated from the group). His patter was amusing as well. |

| This tour was so well received by our group ( of 8 people). Our guide, Kurt was funny, knowledgeable, and was a true delight! I have been on both food tours now, and this was by far my favorite. Every New Yorker should be required to go on this before they can live in the city! Well done!
Bravo!

| Coming from Houston,Texas; where we have a very diverse culture of cusines and people from all over the world, I was very impressed with the tour of Chelsea Market. There are few (to none) places in Texas where you can get the finest, freshest and very delicious items located at the all in one location such as Chelsea Market; many being local.
I was a bit skeptical at first about spending 3 hours on a tour, but let me tell you it was well worth the experience. For those of you with a refined palate, or as my husband jokingly calls "food connoisseurs", you will enjoy the fine products available and the tasting of the various foods available in the market.
If you get to taste the fine baked goods at Eleni's, or the fresh milk from Ronnybrook Dairy, to the scrumptous seafood from the Lobster Place, then you will realize it was worth the tour. For those of you that are "finicky" eaters, such as my friend that accompanied me, then this tour may not be the best for you (if it's not a Burger, then she won't touch it). All the rest should enjoy!
Hopefully, you will be charmed by the tour guide (our guide was Cindy) as we were. |

| Our guide was very knowledgeable, she answered all our questions and we had a lot. She was quick on her feet even though one foot wwas in a walking cast. she took us to terrific places of NY history, places we never knew existed. We loved every part of the tour especially the eating places - a wonderful blend of history and contemporary culture in one afternoon. Before you know it you too will feel like a member of the nieghborhood. This was our second tour with Foods of NY - just terrific. see you on the next one ! |

| Superb tour for foodies - lots of great produce sampled in Chelsea market. Have also done the Greenwich tour, previously. Think Chelsea market is better for 'foodies' with Greenwich more for seeing more of New York.

| The tour guide seemed very enthusiastic about the tour itself and was very helpful. She seemed to really care if we were getting alot out of it which I know my group did. It was a good time!!!! |
