| This was a great way to spend some time in NYC, see things we would not have seen on our own, oh yes, and to eat some good food. Our guide was excellent, and as on most tours, made this one as great as it was. In fact, the food was in some ways the least of the tour. We intend to go on the Village tour next time we are back. |

| This a very unique expereince which encompasses historical (and very interesting) facts with excellent food tastings from various shops. Our tour guide (Kurt) was amazing...very entertaining, kind and informative...the best tour guide I've seen pretty much ever. Do miss this great expereince and if possible request Kurt! |

| My friend and I whole-heartedly agree! We absolutely loved this tour - and a big part of the fun were our tour guides! We had Wendy for the first half of the tour. Then, we lost our group because of way too much gawking at the fabulous foods, and did the second part with Kirk! They were both truly hysterical, quick-witted, kind, informative, wonderful people! No question was too stupid, they welcomed it all!
The Meat Packing District is so unique. We never would have learned everything we did without this tour. Not to mention, an awareness of some wonderful restaurants in the area. Afterwards, we had mojitos at Son Cubano - per Kirk's recommedation!
Lastly, the Lobster Bisque at the Lobster Place was the best thing I've ever eaten. I still dream of it and will go back next year.
Thank you for providing such a great tour! It was loads of fun and a unique way to spend 3 hours in the city!

| First of all, our guide was exceptional. She was the perfect guide who had a lot of energy, enthusiastic, funny and was very knowledgeable about the history of the Chelsea Market/Meat Packing District, Chelsea Market building and the merchants and the surrounding areas of New York City.
The other individuals who were on our tour were from other States and from New Zealand. These individuals were asking her questions pertaining to other areas of NYC and she gave them recommendations on restaurants, night clubs and most of all to be careful walking in certain areas after 10 pm and to take a cab.
I would highly recommend this Culinary/Historical Chelsea Market/Meat Packing District experience to everyone including individuals who live in the surrounding Metropolitan areas (such as New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania).

| While Todd, our tour guide, was informative, I would have liked a little more "behind the scenes" activity. I felt that I could have gotten a guide book and walked the district. The Chelsea building has been refurbished and is quite a destination, but make it interesting next time and take us up to the food network headquarters, or have a wine tasting with Rachel Ray or something a little different. Again, Todd was and is a knowledgeable guide and had a great calming way about him, he was limited in what he was able to present.
Next time, go into Hogs and Heifers. Get an appointment to go into Stella McCartneys or some of the high end stores that feature "by appointment only". That's the kind of stuff you pay for and that would make the tour special. |

| Todd, tour guide was very good. Did the Village tour in 2004 Mike in 04 was absolutely superb!!!!!! - and as a result did this one in 05.
Would have appreciated seeing the Food Network even if for just a walk through the studio.
The meatpacking district was not nearly as interesting or important as the market!
However think it was a good tour and would recommend it. There were 9 adults in our group between the ages of 38 and 66 all with a diverse background and interest. We had a great time. |

| After paying $40.00 apiece, we wondered if this would be three hours well-spent. It was worth every penny. We walked up and down the Chelsea Market before the official tour, doing a quick look around. When we actually took the the tour we were amazed at the amount of detail and information that had passed us by. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable. The food tasting, a big feature of the tour, was varied and ample. The tour was not hurried, and the guide made sure everyone's needs were met throughout. The end result was a desire to go back and explore again, eat in many of the places we saw, and sign up for the other food tour! |

| I highly recommend the tour, whether you are alone or in a group. I had a fantastic time, learned so much about a neighborhood I might not have made it to at all. Plus tons of incredible food! |

| Our tour guide Curt was the key to success for this entertaining and informative, not to mention delicious, tour of Chelsea Market and the meatpacking district. The pace was just right, the amount of information he presented was appropriate, and the food tasting was fun and filling! Well worth the price and a wonderful way to get to know a whole new section of the ever interesting terrain that is Manhattan. At the conclusion of the tour, the four of us went back to Chelsea Market and each one of us spent 20 minutes zipping through the market like old pros picking up delicious treats from the samples we'd had earlier. We kept our purchases secret from one another until an hour before the concert we were going to that night and, thanks to our new found knowledge, we had an eclectic nosh fest that was more fun than reservations! |
