| We both highly enjoyed the tour. I am a freelance food writer, so I signed up to taste all the goodies at Chelsea Market. The food was excellent, and so plentiful that I had to start rationing it! My boyfriend loves facts and history and he enjoyed the food as well as the many myriad details about the market itself and the surrounding neighborhood. Three hours into the tour, we were still interested and as enthusiastic as we were at the start. Highly recommended! |

| Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tasting and walking tour. Our tour guide was well informed, very friendly and very enthusiastic about the area. We learned about the ethnic influence and foods and the history of the area. The food was plentiful and very good. We enjoyed it so much that we want to take the Grenwich Village tour when we return to NYC. |

| First, I rarely do reviews - and even more rarely go on tours when I travel, feeling they often blast through well known parts of a city, giving only surface detail at best. This is not the case here, and the reason I'm writing this review. I was thoroughly impressed with both the content of the tour and it's layout - I never felt like we were rushed, and the order in which we tasted foods made sense for the time of day. Todd is incredibly knowledgable, with a great sense of humor, and willing to answer all questions. He clearly has a passion for NYC and for these areas specifically, and of course, food! I had visited NYC before, but hadn't spent much time in Chelsea/Meatpacking District so thought this would be a great way to get acquainted. This tour went beyond my expectations on every level - and seeing these areas just added more items to my list of things I love about new york. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Best $40 I spent in NYC on this trip, hands down. Thanks! |

| We enjoyed this tour very much. There were 7 of us in the group and we especially enjoyed the market. Of course, most of us have watched the food channel, and look forward to seeing more of the food channel since we have been to the market. I am sure the Meatpacking area will improve as changes are made.
We also went on the Greenwich tour several months ago, and that had more to offer as far as restaurants were concerned.
However, we would recommend both tours, and have done so. No one has been disappointed.

| Our tour guide was Curt, a pleasant surprise to find he was Canadian. He was informative, knowledable. We learned much about the area & local history. It was so much more enjoyable having him give us details about an area that we were unfamiiar with. We enjoyed our tour so much that we booked the Greenwich tour also. I would highly recommend this tour to all, and have already done so to friends travelling there in a few months. Congratulations to you at foodsofny.

| The Chelsea Market is a great location and it would have been nice to have a tour of some of the production facilities of NY1, Food Network, or Oxygen. It was hard to get back from the final destination to get back to the Market at the end of the tour. The Meat packing district is changing quickly, but was not really the reason we wanted to take the tour. Finally, it would have been nice to have one true entree served as part of the tour. The soups and appetizers were great, but even as small entree would have added/complemented the food served greatly.
The tour was good and overall I would recommend it to my friends. |

| My husband & I were looking for something different than the typical tour as we have been to the city a number of times. We really enjoyed the knowledge of the history of the Chelsea/Meatpacking district that our tour guide (Cindy) had to offer us. Seeing a part of the city that is in such a state of change felt like we were watching history happen before our eyes! The food tastings were delicious and provided a nice variety - afterwards we went back to purchase some more to take back home! Our only complaint was that we didn't get the coupons in our packet as we had been promised. We definitely would recommend this tour to other people! |

| What luck! Searching the Internet and finding such an exceptional tour group. Cindy (tour leader) was so exceptional - everything you'd want in a guide. The tour stops were fun, interesting and delicious. A wonderful mix of food, history and a look the the future development of the area. Keep up the great work. |

| The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our tour and tasting experience. The guide was very personable and gave of us lots of tidbits of information. I can't wait to bring my next group of family and friends to the Chelsea Mkt./Meatpacking District Food Tasting Tour. |
