Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

My family and I came to NYC for the holidays and signed up for the tour on the recommendation of a friend who had previously done one. Our tour guide Kurt was fantastic! He was full of energy, entertaining, and amazingly knew all 16 names in the first ten minutes. The food was incredible. The tour was the highlight of my trip. The next time I visit NYC, I will definitely do another one. Highly recommend it!!!

Definitely worth taking this tour.

We were a group of friends from Long Island who wanted to do something different in NYC. It was even better than we expected. Our guide, Wendy, was so well informed and taught us so much about Chelsea Market and the surrounding area. The tour was very well organized and the food tastings were delicious.

We had an amazing tour guide named Curt. He had great energy and was very personable. By the end of the tour we did not need to grab lunch since the tastings were amazing. I loved the tour so much that I will look into the other food tours in NYC. If you have the chance to do this tour, I would not pass this opportunity.

This tour is both an introduction to the history and future of the meat packing district, and an introduction to products from several merchants inside the Chelsea market. Because the products offered by these merchants are so outstanding, its far more than "getting you into the store". Without the tour, we would have had no idea where to start and we would not, on our own, have been able to replicate the experience.

This tour, as the Greenwich tour, was really incredible. It was full of historical facts and wonderful food. We really enjoyed it!

I purchased this tour due to wife's love of the Food Network and the Chelsea Market area. I was a little worried it may be drab and boring. I was pleasantly surprised. Our guide was enthusiastic, informative, and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

I like any tour that takes you off the beaten path and provides information that you might not otherwise learn. Add to that a fantastic tourguide and delicious snacks. What's not to love? I can't wait to get back to NYC to take a tour in another neighbourhood.

What a great way to spend a hot Saturday. The guide was not only knowledgeable but a hoot as well. Kurt was a big part of why the tour was so much fun. The tastings were great and inspirational to a professional foodie. It was nice to learn new things that NYC has to offer. You will laugh, learn something and eat till your stuffed.
