Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

Daryl was a great tour guide. He had a lot of historical information to share and he did so with great wit. I would recommend this tour to anyone, even locals. Expect to eat a lot of food from all the vendors at the Chelsea Market.

Curt (Kurt?) is incredibly entertaining and personable. The food is varied and delicious. We had high hopes for the tour and our expectations were exceeded. I am fairly familiar with NYC but not this locale so it was really fun to learn about the changes to the area, while partaking of all the great nibbles - and honestly, most of the portions went way beyond nibbling!

Wonderful way of testing good food in different places. Our guide, Kurt, has great personality and knows a lot about restaurants, food and chefs. He also gave us some history of the district and market. Overall experience was better than i expected.

For starters I booked the tour for Friday but thought I had booked this for Thursday so props to Todd who was able to squeeze me in on a tour that already started. Kurt was our tour guide and he was great! The tour was more than I had expected.. I really thought it was mainly going to be food related but he took us around the area and also gave us a lot of history of the meatpacking district as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks again to Todd and Kurt for squeezing me in on the tour :)

The tour guide was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, not only to the tour participants, but also to the people at the stores/restaurants.

For our girls trip in NYC we decided to take the Chelsea Market tour and it was the highlight of the whole trip! We had multiple celebrity sitings, the food was plentiful and delicious (don't eat a big breakfast before going on this tour), and Diana, our guide, was fabulous!! I would recommend this tour to anyone who considers themselves a "foodie" or is interested in an area of the city with a ton of history and character.

We try to come every year in October to NYC. The Foods of New York Tours have really added to our experience and we always find a new, exciting restaurant to try as a result . Our tour guide was so easy and friendly with the group, as well as informative. She was helpfpul with visiting tips also. We will come back!

The tour was so much fun. It was interesting and just the right amount of time and walking. Diana did a wonderful job and was thoroughly interesting. The food was excellent. We would definitely do the tour again.
