| seven of us..........three childhood friends with their four grown daughters enjoyed a bonding experience and thought the tour was absolutely great. Though the mothers had all been to Chelsea Market only a year ago, we were expecting a little disappointment in seeing the same place twice.. We said we were going for the daughters. Were we ever surprised at how much we learned and how much we saw that we had never seen the first time. The guide was personable, funny, very knowledgable. VERY KNOWLEDGABLE. We would all do it again in a heart beat and we loved all the exercise we got from walking. The meat packing district was equally as great.DId we mention the food? The tastings were so delicious. We would all highly recommend the tour. Take the Greenwich Village tour also......you won't be disappointed. |

| Our group of three signed up for this tour on the internet and picked this one because most of it was inside and air-conditioned. We had a fantastic tour guide named Kurt, who learned all our names, gave us historical and food information, and entertained us during our time togther. This was a very enjoyable time with LOTS to eat - big and little snacks from many places! There are times when one can sit down to rest, if you are worried about too much walking. A bottle of water is provided, but I suggest you bring a plastic bag to carry the handouts and extra food provided. A wonderful experience and I highly recommend this tour and the one of Greenwich Village. We did both. |

| Our tour guide was very knowledgable about NY and the history. We loved the Meat-packing district, and ended up going back there for lunch a couple of times. The local, young businesses were accommodating for our group and the tastes of their wares was impressive and brought us back for more. After the tour we went back to buy gifts and souvenirs for friends and family. We visited Chelsea Market twice more after our tour. We would highly recommend it to anyone -- locals or visitors in the area. The tour group was small (16) and it was fun to share notes with them about what to see, etc. |

| This was my 2nd food tour and I found it totally different than the first one I took, the original Greenwich Village Tour, and just as FANTASTIC. The tour is so interesting, filled with amazing history of the area. The food was so DELICIOUS. Our tour guide Daryl, was EXCELLENT, with such knowledge of the area, and a wonderful personality, too. I've lived in NJ and NY forever and have learned so much about the NY area, which I couldn't wait to share with friends. This is a wonderful way to spend the day, with the cost of the tour well worth it!! |

| Our guide (Kurt) was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable, made a point of remembering all of our names, and really made the tour enjoyable. I have already recommended it to some friends who will be visiting the city this summer. |

| The Chelsea Market tour is the perfect tour for foodies who don't like to "do tours".
Our guide Diana was marvelous. She was animated, knowledgeable and most noticably PROUD of her city - specifically this area. It is a fast paced 3 hrs that you won't soon forget. My friends keep bringing up their favorite moments of this trip and want to know when we can do another.
The food is the ultimate icing on the cake but the history dump is equally interesting. So much info that you could never find for yourself. I had been to the market several times before but I have a huge new respect for its history.
One friend and I did the original tour last year and were so impressed that we planned another visit to take a different tour. I invited 3 more friends to join us and ALL of us want to do another tour. We are planning Chinatown next. When we finish all 4 tours, I'm sure we could start all over again because it's just so much fun.
People interested in this tour must know that you need to be able to stand/walk quickly for the full 3 hrs. It's well worth staying in shape to get to do this event. |

| Kurt was our guide and he was awesome. He actually made a point to memorize everyone's first name and he had an exceptional personality. The Nabisco Building has tons of history and the food on the tour was outstanding. The guide new the owners at all our stops and made our visits up close and personal. We totally enjoyed every moment of this tour!! |

| My small group thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Sam, was informative, amusing, accommodating and just plain fun. He was able to bring out the best of our whole group so that we operated as a small family for the 3+ hours. We even wanted to have a reunion! The market history and food were deliciously interesting. The walk around the surrounding streets and restaurants made me want to return with others. The time flew by and we didn't want it to end. I have spoken to others about this delightful day and I plan to take part in other tours soon. |

| This was my fourth food tour. I've been on the Grenwich tour twice, and the Central Grenwich SOHO tour once. Kurt was an outstanding tour guide. His knowledge of food, and his knowledge of the area was stellar. His sense of humor was infectious as well. GREAT delivery! It was raining when we arrived, so the majority of the tour was held inside Chelsea market.....although one could definitely tour the market on their own, one would not receive the wealth of knowledge that we did! I don't know if on less rainy days if more of the neighborhood is toured as well. We did get a smattering of the neighborhood that was great as well.
A wonderful time was experienced by all! Highly recommend! |
