Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience (as much as we did 9 years ago in Greenwich Village) and would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends and certainly do another one when next in New York.

Diana was our very enthusiastic tour guide. It seemed that each taste was more delectable than the last. the lobster bisque is a MUST HAVE for this tour. My only constructive criticism would be that, had we finished our tour where we had started it, I probably would have gone back to the vendors and bought some items. Our guide and the quality of the tour were both outstanding. Only regret is that we didi it on our last day in New York because we really would have liked to revisit some of the stops.

This tour is not just for a Foodie, it has great information/history about the city and the neighborhood. Provided excellent insights into the past, great pictures. Food along the tour was excellent. We can't say enough about our guide Cindy, great knowledge and enthusiasm for the city.

We had a wonderful time and Cynthia was knowledgeable and friendly. Living in NY, we thought that we knew the area. She was informative and managed to corral the group and get a lot accomplished in the three hours that we were with her. I would definitely do another tour and we are planning the Greenwich village tour for the Spring. The only thing that would have helped would have been to know that the majority of the tour was indoors. We dressed for the very cold weather and were inside for most of the tour. This was great, however, there should have been some place to check hats, coats, etc. so that we did not have to carry everything around with us for 2.5 hrs. We were hosting out of town guests and they also were very pleased with the tour and asked if they could do another tour the next time they returned to NY.. Thanks for a great day! Having been on a Walking Tour two years ago we were anxious to try another one. Our previous tour through Greenwich Village was delightful and informative so we knew that we could expect a high level of entertainment. We were not disappointed with the Chelsea Market Tour. Kurt, our guide, was professional, funny and full of information about the vendors and location. It helped that the vendors we visited were very gracious, and shared their time with us during the busy holiday season. We had plenty of food tastings, and learned quite a bit of information and history about the area. Thanks for a great time.

I really enjoyed our tour of Chelsea Market and the meatpacking district. Our guide, Darrell, was fun, engaging, informative and interesting. I learned a lot about the old Nabisco building and the colorful history of the area. The only change I would make is the order of the tour...it is hard to go from eating a wonderful cookie to sipping Lobster Bisque. I'd start at the Italian restaurant and then work around Chelsea Market and save the sweet treats for last. Thank you for a wonderful experience in NYC!

Darryl was our tour guide. He was pleasent, entertaining, and informative. We could tell he enjoyed showing groups around the market and meat packing district. The food. It was great and there was lots of it. This is my second tour with the company, I did the Greenwhich Village tour a couple of years ago. I hope to do others in the future!
