| Concept for tours is a great idea: food snacks plus history.
Hope you expand to other areas: hell's kirtchen, upper east side, upper west side, broadway (probably longer and more history, etc. You might have a problem getting 5757,Picholine, Four Seasons, Beacon, etc. to buy in, but - hey - they are interested in tourist business, too. I'll be back next year. |

| Ron, our guide was very knowledgable & pleasant & the food was excellent. Especially interesting was to see the transition in this area from a seedy industriial part of town to a blossoming fashion & dining destination. |

| Emeril's "Live" show on the Food Channel piqued my interest in the Chelsea Market, when the TV Studio moved in above the market and various vendors were showcased. Four female family members (three generations) helped me celebrate my 75th BD in New York. My Tucsonian daughter-in-law, the "activity planner", asked me what I most wanted to see and I replied, "The Chelsea Market". By the next day, she had found your tour on the internet and booked our group for what was a highlight of our brief visit. Todd is a wonderful guide. He has a pleasant personality, is easy to hear and understand in the busy market and is so very knowledgeable. You can tell that he thoroughly enjoys what he does. The tour of this huge old block-sized building, with its history as the Nabisco Baking Company and the story of its recent development into a multi-use facility is fascinating. The vendors themselves as well as the very generous tastings are terrific. The tour of the Meatpacking District was educational and amazing! This is a neighborhood going through a huge transition, propelled by the Chelsea Market and other new ventures. With 25 meat packing plants left of the more than 100 previously operating there and the cleanup of a number of unsavory and notorious activities, it is becoming a safe and enjoyable place to shop, dine and stay. Todd's extensive knowledge of the history of the area made it all come alive. I especially had great fun poking my head inside the Hogs and Heifers to see the bras hanging on the antlers above the bar and hearing the female bartenders use their bullhorn to "welcome Grandma inside". |

| The tour started on time, the participants were perfect for this type of event--congenial and anxious to be involved. Guide was most effective in taking charge, Let us know where she'd be, where to meet, how many minutes she'd be gone. Well planned and executed.
The tour dropped to almost zero when we went out of the facility. Altho much of the first portion (shops and future shops) was interesting, the stop at the bar was a real turnoff. It was dirty dark and filled me with revulsion. Could have had a more upbeat finale to such a wonderful day.
I have told many people about the tour and suggested they try it when in New York. |

| We enjoyed this tour very much. There were 7 of us in the group and we especially enjoyed the market. Of course, most of us have watched the food channel, and look forward to seeing more of the food channel since we have been to the market. I am sure the Meatpacking area will improve as changes are made.
We also went on the Greenwich tour several months ago, and that had more to offer as far as restaurants were concerned.
However, we would recommend both tours, and have done so. No one has been disappointed.

| Our tour guide was Curt, a pleasant surprise to find he was Canadian. He was informative, knowledable. We learned much about the area & local history. It was so much more enjoyable having him give us details about an area that we were unfamiiar with. We enjoyed our tour so much that we booked the Greenwich tour also. I would highly recommend this tour to all, and have already done so to friends travelling there in a few months. Congratulations to you at foodsofny.

| This was our second food tour. Did Greenwich Village on our last visit and enjoyed it so much we were determined to try a different tour this year and brought along five friends. Everyone thanked us for our recommendation. The tour guide was great and the food was fantastic. Plenty for lunch. Hope to do the other Greenwich Village tour on our next NYC visit. Thanks for providing such an interesting, informative and tasty tourist attraction. |

| I have to admit I was sceptical of a "tour" when my wife suggested it and especially of the "meatpacking district" that I remembered as an area that you didn't even drive thru in the old days and now to do a walking tour was incomprehensible especially when rain was predicted!!! Wow was I wrong.
This was the absolute highlight of our trip (except for seeing "Memphis"!!) The guide was full of personality and just plain fun . We got a great history lesson of the area and the "samples" of the food places was incredible in addition to going thru some fabulous restaurants. Toward the end I was hoping that she would not stop at another food place as I was so full of fabulous foods from all over the country. This is a tour for all ages above 21. We will certainly do this type of tour from your company next time we are in town. Thanks so much for the professionalism and great guidance. |
