Our Tour Was truly more than we could have imagined or hoped for. Our tour guide was enthusastic, genuinely enjoyed what he was doing and it showed. He really made sure we all had a great time and it was a great Value. My Husband and I both work in the Hotel Business and had very high expectations. The Tour Delivered it all. We know the chelsea market already but was introduced to new things we had overlooked and were thrillled from Start to Finish. We will both Highly Recommend this tour and the Zerve Website as well. Thank you for a Job Well Done. Two Thumbs up for Kurt as well . He was Great. |

Sam,
We learned a lot about this area, we would not have gone into the buildings we went it to, because it look like they were just warehouses. It was a revelation. The food was awsom. We had so much to eat ,very littte walking in between the different resturants and specialty shops. It was fun. We met people from New York that did not know that this was even here. So we felt special that we discovered it together. |

This was a great tour of Chelsea Market and the surrounding area. We learned so many interesting things about it, even small details like that the T salon uses soy ink and corn cups. We even went "behind-the-scenes" and saw a huge 5-lb lobster in the back room of the lobster store. We had a great variety of samples and they were nicely sized too. Kurt was an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable about the area and funny! The tour was very well planned out and had a good small group size (16). I've been to Chelsea Market before but never knew what I learned in the tour. This tour gave us a nice appreciation of Chelsea Market and the surrounding area... it was well worth the money and I would highly recommend it to others. |

Tour was great and having moments of sitting helped make it through the 3 hrs. It was great getting to know all the food options available in the Market. The tour guide was charmingly witty. |

Would never have found this on my own! |

This was a great three hours spent with my friends from Florida and Montreal....Daryl, our tour guide, was personable, entertaining and knowledgeable; I worried that there wouldn't be enough for lunch, but we had plenty--high quality (and high calorie) food. I can't wait to bring others in for this tour. The whole area has gone through such a transformation, but looking at the outside of the old building you would never suspect there's so many great shops inside. Loved it. |

Samson was a very engaging and enthusiastic guide, and the tour covered a LOT of ground! We were very impressed with the food, and Samson is obviously well-thought-of by the vendors in the market. A few comments, however:
1. We were told we would be coming back to Chelsea Market at the end of the tour. In fact, we ended up on the penthouse level of a hotel several blocks away, where Samson joined a couple guests in the bar and left the rest of us to make our way. Since we did want to shop at some of the places we'd seen, it was a little inconvenient to have to walk all the way back on our own.
2. We thought we heard Samson say that the Food Network studio, or at least part of it, would be in the tour, and we were not shown anything from the Foot Network.
3. While it was neat to see Morimoto and Battali's restaurants, it would have been more interesting to hear/see more of the history of the area. Our "meatpacking" part of the tour involved walking past a place that had old signs on it, with an active meatpacking plant across the street but we didn't see any of it.
Again, we loved the tour and have already highly recommended it but there were a couple areas we felt we were a little misleading in terms of what was actually included in the tour. We'll definitely check again next time we come to NYC!
Thank you! |

We had such a good time on the tour. The food was delicious. Our tour guide
was funny, informative and very entertaining. We also received a booklet of all the places we visited. We are already thinking about signing up for another tour through a different area! This was so fun! I will recommend this tour to everyone I know. |

This tour was far more than anyone in our group had expected. We are all local and have been to the market many times, but we were looking for something different to do. As it turned out, it was not only something different, but it was a GREAT time. We sampled some yummy food and laughed for three hours, thanks to our phenomenal tour guide Kurt. Not only was it fun, but it was informative and interesting. It was three hours well spent. Thank You Kurt!!! |
