| Having grown up in NYC and remembering the lower West Side as an area not worth seeing, it was a nice surprise to tour Chelsea Market, taste a variety of superior foods, and then see Mario's and Morimoto's restaurants, in addition to seeing a West Village townhouse. It helped immensely that our guide, Kurt, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We experienced a complete lunch of varied and fresh, well prepared and delicious foods while making the rounds of many interesting and different stores. We have already recommended this tour to our friends in the New York area and those from here who are going to visit NYC.

| I recently took two friends from out of town on the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour. I wondered, at first, how we were going to fill up the three hours of the tour. Any apprehensions quickly went out the window upon meeting our guide, Kurt. From start to finish, Kurt was an amazing guide. His knowledge, personability, and sense of humor made for an incredible enjoyable experience.
The tour itself was packed with great food and was structured very well. Just enough time was spent at each stop and the "menu" progressed well, especially the gelato before venturing into the outdoor portion of the tour on our particularly humid NYC day.
I would recommend this tour to anyone, tourist or local. Where else in NY can you get entertainment, information, and great food at such a low price? |

| Enjoyed the food, the guide, the history, the sites, the walk...did I mention the food? We really enjoyed the food. This is our second Foods of New York tour and we highly recommend the tour company. |

| the tour is interesting and the guide is fun, but the amount of food is clearly insufficient and overall it does not represent great value for money. |

| Our tour was part of a Father/ Daughter adventure on a 4 day trip to NYC. Luckily, someone told us about this tour and we decided, at the last minute, to do it. What a treat. Kurt, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, hospitable, humorous and a true "host". This interesting "tasting tour" com, combined with the historical perspective of the facility and surrounding neighborhood was just wonderful. Upon returning to our home town, we agreed that we will take another tour on our next trip to NYC. PS my daughter is 13 and she really enjoyed and appreciated the tour...there was another 13 year old on the tour as well. Great couples, family or individual event. Well done Kurt...you made our trip! |

| My sister and I are from Canada. Neither of us had been to the Chelsea Market area before.
Darrell was an amazing tour guide! Full of history and knowledge of the Market and surrounding area! A well rounded tour not just about food! Really liked getting out into the neighbourhood as well.
Keep up the great work! |

| We toured the Chelsea Martket and Meat Packing District August 2. Our tour guide was Diana. Diana was a wealth of information, facts and figures. The food was superb and received a healthy portion at each stop. The fish shop was the best in my opinion, the soups offered were exceptional and tasty. Enjoyed seeing Mario Batali and Morimoto's restaurants, although not open for service we were allowed in as part of the Foods of New York tour. What would make this better if we were allowed to see the Food Network studio in the building. Overall, an exceptional tour and with fair value and would recommend highly. |

| My wife and I enjoyed this tour every much. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the food we tasted was great and the portions at some of the tasting were more than we expected. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting NY city. My wife found this area of NY city to be great fun and we would return to on our next visit. This is an area you would not expect to visit but is as much fun or more fun to see than some of the better known site to visit. This is my second of three bookings through "Zerve" two thru the internet and now one over the telephone. The person over the phone was very friendly and helpful. |
