Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

I loved this tour. The Chelsea Market is amazing!! All of the food was delighful. Curt was a fun and entertaining tour guide. It was a highlight of our trip.

The Chelsea Market tour was great! The only recommendations we would have is to spend more time outside of the market and speak a little more about the history of the buildings, etc. The food we tasted was great. We have done the Greenwich Village tour in the past and we did prefer that one to the Chelsea tour as it was outdoors walking around the neighborhood and there did seem to be a little bit more food tasting on that one. We would definitely recommend your food tours.

Wish I had an apartment in the Chelsea area so I could shop at this wonderful canopy of foodstuffs. Loved the history of the building however would have liked a little more of outside the building history. Food was outstanding and very filling.

Besides the great food, our tour guide Bob provided interesting info about the restaurants and the area in which we toured. Greatly recommended for first timers and frequent visitors of the area.

I have been on the original Greenwich Village tour through this company twice and LOVED it. I was not aware at the time I signed up that that this tour is almost fully contained within the old Nabisco factory building, with a small outdoor component, which ended up being perfect because the weather wasn't great that day. Our 12 and 15 year old kids even enjoyed it (the younger was a little bored by the information and history, but he loved the food). There is definitely plenty of food and the tour is very interesting and informative and takes almost 3 hours. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. Four thumbs up from our family. NOTE**** It's PERFECT if you are visiting NYC in the winter, on a rainy day or in the dead heat of the summer, when a 3 hour outside tour (the original Greenwich Village tour) could be brutal!

This is my 2nd time on this specific tour. I bought my daughters to NYC and wanted them to experience not only the fun and informative tour but to also enjoy Curt Upton! I took the tour last December with a group of friends. It was just as much fun for me this time. I am a travel agent and will always recommend these tours. I met someone on the tour that had taken the Greenwich tour and they had really enjoyed that as well. My girls decided that if they lived in New York they would definitely hang out with Curt!!! we had a blast, so much fun and some great informational details too. it was our first trip to chelsea market and we will be back. everybody enjoyed the day. we had Kevin (?) and he was ABOVE AND BEYOND ! Loved him

We all had a great informative, tour led by Bob. We learned alot, didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. It was more than expected. We also had a wonderful group of people and by the end of the last meal we felt we were with family. A great time was had by us.

If you only do ONE thing in New York, then it had better be this tour! It was the best of everything that makes New York so special! An extremely knowledgeable tour guide, with a wonderful personality, great food, and terrific sightseeing! It was recommended to me and I have recommended it to everyone here at work! Can hardly wait to do it again the next time!

For anyone who loves food and learning about an area, this is a tour you must do. Not only was it informativie about the foods and business owners, but also about the history of the area. In an era of big box and discount stores, it is terrific to see small businesses flourish. Hats off to them and to the developer(s) who had the vision.
