Thanks for a great tour. It was an excellent balance of food and history, and the time just flew! As an overseas visitor, I really enjoyed the historical aspects, and Bob our guide was amusing and extremely knowledgeable. Obviously the food was excellent, and a good mix of styles and tastes....and plenty of it. I'd highly recommend this as an activity for those who want to get away from the traditional tourist activities in NY. |

What a wonderful way to spend about three hours in New York! This tour was both informative and enjoyable as well as providing a very interesting assortment of foods. I would recommend this to anyone except those with young children. My next trip will definitely include another tour of a different area. |

Our guide, Kirk, made our experience fun as he educated us on all aspects of the area...
We walked, ATE and laughed as our group of strangers became more like friends, thanks
to Kirk...He totally engaged us all in discovering the uniqueness of this fascinating part of the city...We were not ready for the tour to end even after 3 hours!!! We will definitely return to Chelsea Market on our next visits and feel comfortable that we somewhat "know" what we are doing!!!!
Thanks, Kirk, for your exceptional tour....

On any tour, the tour guide makes all the difference. Our guide was Curt. Within the first 5 minutes, he knew each of our names and where we were from. He was a barrel of energy, had a fantastic personality, and everyone just loved him.
The tour itself was most interesting, and Curt told us the history of each place with humor and joy. We could tell he loves what he does.
At first, we were afraid we wouldn't be able to keep up with him, but we did.
We took the Central Village tour last week, and did not enjoy it nearly as much.

This tour was recommended by a friend who said she loved it and that I would also. It was everything the description said it would be and more. Our tour guide, Bob, was so friendly, knowledgeable and witty. He kept us going at a good pace and was full of little stories and observations. The food we tasted was amazing. I could not believe the amount and variety of the food tastings. I had heard of Chelsea Market, but had no idea of its size or what vendors were part of it. The little tour of the HighLine Park was a fun bonus. Seeing the Meat Packing District was also very interesting. My friends were also delighted with the tour, We all agreed we would do it again with another group, perhaps family, I have already given the website to several other friends and suggested they get some people together and book a tour. I also enjoyed meeting and talking to the other members of the tour who were from other parts of the USA and Canada. It was a very enjoyable day. |

Our guide made the tour so interesting. Aside from the fine samples and history of the foods and food merchants, our tour included a visual treat in the beautiful restrooms of Morimoto's Restaurant. Chelsea Market will definitely be a primary stop on my next trip to NYC. |
