| Curt (Kurt?) is incredibly entertaining and personable. The food is varied and delicious. We had high hopes for the tour and our expectations were exceeded. I am fairly familiar with NYC but not this locale so it was really fun to learn about the changes to the area, while partaking of all the great nibbles - and honestly, most of the portions went way beyond nibbling! |

| We try to come every year in October to NYC. The Foods of New York Tours have really added to our experience and we always find a new, exciting restaurant to try as a result . Our tour guide was so easy and friendly with the group, as well as informative. She was helpfpul with visiting tips also.
We will come back! |

| I would encourage anyone to take this or any tour offered by Foods of New York. The Chelsea Market was fabulous, as was the inclusion of the Highline! Major bonus! Bob, our guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. As with all food tours, it gives you great insight into the neighborhood and new favorite places to go!! Don't eat prior, you'll get plenty of generous samples--YUM!! |

| we met our tour guide who was from the area and knew a lot about the city and it's history - also lots of information about the green movement in New York, very cool.
Ok the food. we started with a bakery which had these amazing cookies with lots of goodies in them. we spent a large portion of the time in this cute, very historic mall/food court, which was once formerly a meat packing company. we sample lots of yumming food. love the cheese and crackers at the specialty shop. the last place to eat was this old italian restuarant with a lot of history and wonderfully made home pasta.
overall, I would recommend the tour if you really want to experience chelsea. |

| Tour started on time with very enthusiastic guide, who is very into food. He was very knowledgeable about Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District and made it a fun few hours. We had lots of snacks, nibbles and came away not needing lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour. |

| Had a wonderful afternoon with Diane. We had a lot of food during the course of the day that the only thing we had for dinner was a little sushi from The Lobster Place before heading back to New Jersey. I would totally recommend it to everyone. |

| What a great way to get a sample from virtually place in the Chelsea Market and learn about the history, as well. Other people in the Market were just kind of wandering around deciding where to have lunch. Why decide? My cousin was with me and she has lived in NYC for the last 8 years. She learned a lot on the tour, and saw things that she hadn't before. I'm sure the other tours are just as good. I can't wait to try them. |

| This tour was better than expected. Not only do you get a good tour and history of Chelsea Mkt., but we also enjoyed seeing the Meatpacking District and even the new Highline "park" area. The food was all very good and there was a lot of it. In fact we were almost too full! There were some locals on our tour and they all thought it was great too. Went back to the Mkt to shop and also to one of the other restaurants for dinner later. Highly recommend it! |

| What a great afternoon we had with Darrell on Saturday, Sept 12. From the first encounter with the tour leader to the last stop at the top of the hotel, we had such a fun and interesting and informative time. We may not come back together, but as individuals, I'm sure we will be there again with our friends and/or other family members. Thanks for the memories. |

| This tour is not only a great way to experience a taste of NYC's gourmet treats but will also satisfy the non-foodie members of your group with the guide's encyclopedic run-down on the history and quirky stories of the area. Don't miss the lobster chowder - an artery-clogging, gourmet delight you could stand your spoon up in! |
