What a great afternoon we had with Darrell on Saturday, Sept 12. From the first encounter with the tour leader to the last stop at the top of the hotel, we had such a fun and interesting and informative time. We may not come back together, but as individuals, I'm sure we will be there again with our friends and/or other family members. Thanks for the memories.

I moved out of Manhattan 20 years ago and this was a great way to see all the changes that have come to the meatpacking district. The guide knew all about the area, both old and new. The food was fantastic.

This was a great way to see part of New York and learn a bit as well. It was really fun to hear all the facts from a tour guide, and just to learn while we enjoyed the tour.

Great tour and not just for 'foodies'

This tour is not only a great way to experience a taste of NYC's gourmet treats but will also satisfy the non-foodie members of your group with the guide's encyclopedic run-down on the history and quirky stories of the area. Don't miss the lobster chowder - an artery-clogging, gourmet delight you could stand your spoon up in!

One of the most informative guides and tours that we have been on. I would not miss learning about the history of this area of NYC and this was the best way to do it. We would like to bring our 3 grandchildren on a tour designed for children around 10 years and hope that you have one as good as this one was.

Our tour guide was great, the first 1 1/2 hours were perfect. Then we went outside and toured the new railroad park. That was interesting but we spent over an hour not talking about food or tasting anything. I would have preferred to spend the last half of our tour in the meat packing district and taste food in some of those restaurants.

I took the Greenwich Village tour, the day before. This one was equally good. Diana, our tour guide was a certified tour guide and a native New Yorker. Her blend of knowledge about the food we were tasting and the Chelsea Area was great. Generous portions on this tour. The lobster bisque was out of this world. If you want to get the best of both worlds, yummy food tastings and information about the area you are in, take the tour, it's great.
