| This is a great tour for foodies. Foods and the Chelsea Market are central to this tour which has less emphasis on the development of the neighborhood than some other tours. |

| We were recommended this trip by two sets of friends that have each previously gone on this tour. Not only were we not disappointed, but we were THRILLED with the tour we received.
Our guide, Curt, was funny and engaging! The tidbits of history were never boring or dry. The food was wonderful.
We later visited two shops and restaurants that Curt recommended. He was spot on about their quality.
We have recommended this tour to several people already and wrote a glowing review in the "Things to Do" book that is kept for visitors of the rental condo we stayed in.
Thanks for a memorable day! |

| My daughter bought my wife and I tickets for this tour. She works in a building across from the Chelsea Mkt. It was a great tour- loved the food and the information. |

| Our tour guide, Kurt or Curt ??, was the BEST -- very knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic about every tour stop. He had unbelievable capability of remembering each guest's name; this made each person feel part of the tour group.
The food tastings were very good and ample for lunch. I was very satisfied with the quantity of food.
I would recommend this food tasting tour to be included in one's visit agenda. Don't wait to the last minute to make reservations. |

| This was the second tour I've taken with the Food Tours Group, and the Chelsea/Meatpacking tour was every bit as interesting and fun as the previous one I took last year (the Greenwich Village Tour).
We were fortunate enough to have Curt again - what an informative and very entertaining tour guide. He had us laughing the whole time, and certainly was well informed about the area - you could tell this was a young man who really enjoyed his work!
The Chelsea Market was a facinating place, and we were totally stuffed after hours of nibbling, tasting, and munching our way throughout the building. The restaurants we visited in the Meatpacking District also made us want to go back on our own to try on another visit.
Anyone who says they were still hungry after taking the tour must be crazy!
The tours offered are well worth the price, and my girlfriend and I look forward to coming back to New York and signing up for one of the others they offer now. We know we won't be disappointed! |

| While we enjoyed the tour and would recommend it, we thought it was too expensive for the tastings provided. We were expecting to have tastings from the restaurants we visited, for example at Morimoto's. The tour guide Darryl was great. When we had the cheese tasting it was very limited--one tiny piece of cheese on a tiny cracker. The lobster bisque and the Eleni's cookie were the highlights and were very good. More food needed to be provided for $44 per person. |

| Wow, I was completely surprised about how much fun I had during the tour. Darryl, our guide was engaging, informative, and down right funny. At no point did the tour seem like it dragged. It was a great day spent walking around the Market and Neighborhood. Our group was the first to do a tasting at Marcelleria, and it was amazing. Great food choices, fun information, and just a nice all around day. Oh, and by the way, I'm a New Yorker that spends lots of time in that area at night, so it was wonderful to see it in the daylight. |

| We went to the tour, not really knowing what to expect. We loved it; was a great way of discovering NY history, culture and food (food IS culture!). The guide (Diana) was warm, lively and knowledgeable and seemed to love what she was doing. The Chelsea market is a good illustration of how to smoothly pass from the industrial to the post-industrial age. We will certainly use food tasting tours on our future trips to NY to discover other parts of the city and the heritage. |

| We would all like to say how much we enjoyed this tour. We had already been on the Greenwich Village tour and thought that was great. This was even better. Our tour guide, Bob, made this tour outstanding.
Bob was interesting and informative.
We highly recommend him and this tour |
