We attended the Chelsea Market food tour, with tour guide Bob. Our group of five family and friends included 40-somethings, 20-somethings and a teenager. Some of us hail from Boston, and some have recently relocated to the financial district of NYC. We all had a wonderful time exploring and learning the history of the Meat Packing District, while tasting great food. Bob went above and beyond (literally! we went to the roof top of a hotel for a panoramic view, and we were privileged to get a sneak-peek into several highly desirable restaurants owned by some of the area's top chefs) all while treating us to insiders knowledge of the district. When the tour concluded we couldn't help but return to Chelsea Market to purchase the fixings for what turned out to be a wonderful dinner! If you enjoy cooking, we suspect you'll do the same.

The tour was wonderful and Kurt was a great guide. The history of the area is fascinating and food was delicious. I live on LI and never took advantage of what the city has to offer. The tour reminded me and I plan to make it a priority to get into the city more. While I did not do the tour with my children, I have teenagers and feel they would have enjoyed it as well. I plan to do the Greenich Village tour next.

This is a must!!! What a great way to taste your way around the Chelsea Market. The food was fabulous & Darryl, our tour guide, was the best. This is one of our favorite things we did while in New York City.

The Chelsea Marketplace tour is without a doubt worth every cent. Not only did we get to sample delicious foods from a variety of businesses, but we were also fortunate enough to have an excellent tour guide. She gave us excellent background information injected with enthusiasm and humor. What a great shopping and tasting experience!

As visitors to NYC this tour was a great way to discover a new area, and good shops and restaurants. The food tasting was really good too! The guide was really friendly and the group small enough to feel one got personal attention.

| We had a great time. The guide was excellent and funny. The food was good but that was secondary to the good time we had. We are all about the food, but was pleasantly surprised by the guide and his comedy. Well worth the price of the tour.
Would consider another tour on our next visit. Kurt you rock. |

My daughter and I throughly enjoyed this tour. The food provided was not only tasty and far more than we anticipated. The Tour guide was very entertaining and talked about the history, the location, the city, restaurants, in addition to the great food! Would highly recommend this for anyone!

My wife and I took the tour while on a short trip to New York. We were unfamiliar with the Chelsea Market and it sounded like a fun way to experience it and the surrounding area. Instead of just sitting on a bus or listening to someone talk about it, you're completely involved in the tour. You get the opportunity to see, smell, touch and taste everything the market has to offer. And the food we sampled was amazing! Our guide, Curt, was enthusiastic, fun and very knowledgeable. I will (and have) recommended this tour to everyone I know that is visiting New York.

We were pleasantly surprised with the tour. We had no prior recommendation for the tour. Found article through our local newspaper. Tour guide was very knowledgable, funny was a huge part of a good experience with the tour. Surprised with the food tastings, did not expect the amount of samples received. It was interesting to hear the history behind the Chelsea market.
