Quite a good experience. Not only about the food, but Cindy definetely was a big part of it. Her energetic and lively conversation kept everyone in a good mood, and she had some extremelyinteresting stories about the area.

I really enjoyed the tour this past weekend. It was great to get a personal guided tour through Chelsea Market/Meat Packing District from a true New Yorker who is intimately familiar with the city.

Tour was brisk and informative

The 3 plus hours went by very quickly. The tour guide was full of interesting details and kept the tour moving. I felt we covered a lot of ground in Chelsea Market and the Meat Packing District and got a good overview of the high points. The food samples were generous and made for a more than adequate lunch.

They move the tour group in and out of the different venues amongst a lot of traffic with great ease. The distribhution of the goodies always goes smoothly, which is more important than you would think. Nice balance of eating and talking. Guides are fun.

We've done 2 others in the village. have enjoyed them all. Probably preferred the other 2 because more useful restaurant (vs. shop) information than this one. But still very enjoyable.

Our guide-Kurt- was excellent.Very humorous and informative. I would suggest that the cookie sample be near the end since it almost filled us up and we were just starting. We would have liked to have visited more restaurants in the area as you do in the Soho tour. We will be back to try your Chinatown tour on our next visit to New York.

All of the restaurants/shops were all in the indoor Chelsea Market. I don't think this is represntative of a neighborhood sampling. However, tour was enjoyable, food was plentiful, and guide was pleasnt and knowledgable.

Kurt was our tour guide and he was excellent. He is extremely knowledgable, has great energy, is very friendly, and remembered everyone's name on the tour...and there were about 14 or 15 of us! Absolutely worth the time and money to see a side of NYC that we typically wouldn't have explored by ourselves.

I live in Chelsea so I know the market pretty well. Our tour guide was nice and fun but I think that not worth it. I was hoping for more historical information and access to areas that aren't available to the public. The historical facts were foggy at best (dates were specific down to centuries ie. 1800s and dollar figures were expressed in nebulous terms like "godzillions"). I was hoping for the tour to be more informative. It was also loooong. I knew that it would be 3 hours but I did not think that it would be filled with so much time waiting to go on to the next vendor. I would recommend taking the money that you would have spent on this tour and just go to the market and buy a bunch of food, ask vendors questions and be done with it in half the time.
