Chelsea Market/Meatpacking Dist Food Tasting Tour

We had a fantastic and enthusiastic tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and kept the tour light and interesting. The goodies we sampled were very delicious. (I was impressed that they were able to offer vegitarian options!)I can't wait to go back to the area on my own time and experience the resaurants again at my own pace. I can honestly say that when the tour was over I was disappointed that we were out of time. I can't wait to do other tours with this company and get to know my favorite city even better!!!

We loved the entire tour especially Cindy. Only suggestion is a would prefer dessert at the end.

The Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour with our group of 8 friends was an amazing 60th birthday celebration. We all had the best day and really enjoyed our tour guide, Curt. He was charming, funny and very knowledgeable. The food was terrific, especially Macelleria! This tour is perfect even in bad weather as most of it is indoors. Many thanks to Curt and the staff at Foods of NY!

Our guide was wonderful! He was entertaining, knowledgeable, energetic, and catered the experience to each individual in our group. The food was delicious and we were surprised by the amount of samples offered to us. I have already recommended this experience to multiple friends and family members!

I had received a gift certificate for this tour as a gift from a friend, so we decided to schedule our tour when she was in town visiting. It highly exceeded my expectations! Living in New York for the past year I have been to Chelsea Market on numerous occasions, but on our tour I learned so much and got to try many foods I might not normally. It was also unique to venture into the Meatpacking District and get to tour some five star restaurants. I highly recommend this for those visiting New York for the first time, or even if you've been here a while and want to try something new.

Our guide was very nice, organized and knowledgeable but she was a little over the top in terms of her presentation style. A more toned down style would seem less forced/corny.

My date and I had a great time experiencing Chelsea Market and surrounding places in the Meatpacking district. Although I am a local, I have not really ventured out there too much and it was really cool to get the inside scoop on how the place was acquired, designed, and how businesses there are still thriving. And of course the tastings were excellent! I highly recommend this tour to anyone. The tour itself is a few hours but it goes by quickly, you feel a lot more knowledgable about the area after, and you get to experience great food items.
